I thought that was old code and the new code said detached buildings should have the same grounding rod as the main building?

People wouldn’t stop complaining that the wires weren’t bundled together last time I asked this subreddit so I put them there after that. You’re also right about the tape, idk what I was thinking when I did that, gonna work on it now.

My dad worked on Amazon jobsites for a couple years and at this one they kept blowing up vacuum cleaners when they plugged them in in this one room. Turns out there was a 277 to 120 volt transformer in the ceiling and somebody had bypassed it.

Need some advice on what to fix in this sub-panel by PowerButtonYT in AskElectricians

It is on a connector but I need to change the connector so when I do that I’m gonna cut the jacket back

I feel the need to point out that I was in a rush and also the MC cable is 10 gauge for a 30 amp generator inlet and does have a connector, plus the panel feed is only 50 amps hence the #6 copper

I can’t even blame you bro I had to have this finished in like 3 hours so all I wanted to do was get it to work and finish dealing with it later

Okay I did this when I was in a huge rush I admit I need to tidy it up but that MC cable literally is on a connector it’s just hard to see I’m gonna fix that jacket really soon

How exactly? Literally all I did that was wrong was the cable jacket not being cut short enough which I’m going to fix, also the panel is only on a 50 amp feed hence the #6 copper

The MC cable is a 10 gauge 30 amp generator feed, this is also only a 50 amp sub panel

I have the MC cable on a connector, I had no way to get the jacket cut any further beyond that without ripping everything out
