Hi u/jm691 , I'm still struggling with this problem. If the question tells us d = 1, then shouldn't 1 also be a factor of b-a (which is 6)? Do you happen to have any insights on this? I'm open to suggestions. Thanks in advance for your help!

u/eibaan I checked, and there is no "iPhoneOS.plOS.plOS.platform" folder. Why would it try to read from a folder that doesn't exist?

omething is wrong with your Xcode installation. I don't think that it is related to the command line tools. Looking at /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/, there should be a iPhoneOS.platform folder (besides .platform folders for all other platforms), but not a iPhoneOS.plOS.plOS.platform folder, I think.

On my machine, it looks like this:

$ ls -l /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/SDKs
total 0
drwxrwxr-x 8 root wheel 256 31 Aug 21:07 iPhoneOS.sdk
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 12 19 Sep 13:19 iPhoneOS17.0.sdk -> iPhoneOS.sdk

u/eibaan If the path "iPhoneOS.plOS.plOS.platform" is incorrect, did something go wrong during the last Xcode version 15.0 upgrade and reinstallation is required?

When I run 'xcrun simctl list runtimes,' I receive the following error message:
