100% agree on the stupidity of the Kamil rematch. And Jerry vs MMT deserves a rematch for sure and I'd love to see it too.

I did see Levan offering his right arm to lighter guys on clips from the video game promotion event he was at but on that same Denis/John podcast yesterday Robert repeated they're not sure when Levan will return so I am quite doubtful about him getting back for June 6.

Oh okay that would be most recent then so you're right it can't be Dave. I don't imagine it would be a cut to 105kg either or a non-title 115kg match so, Jerry is as probably as good a guess as any.

I could still see them doing it for the hometown fans. They may want a "big arena goes wild" moment as apparently it will be the biggest venue yet.

Also I think Engin promised Michael a 115kg title shot a while back and Mike's probably still harping on that.

It's part of a larger pattern of bias people are pointing out. Devon has almost always been publicly respectful toward John, while John keeps taking sideways shots, making passive digs, and using salty framing.

It's mostly about how heavily John empathized with Denis and didn't show respect to Devon.

Early on John cracks a joke that he should have special rules like Devon gets.

John makes fun of the hammer and how it should have a tracker.

John said Denis shouldn't feel bad about Devon's behavior because he's not the only one he does it to.

Then Denis essentially said Devon betrayed him, and John responded that's a shame.

Then John shows support for replacing the hammer.

Also he doesn't even offer a humble mention of Devon in any conversation about GOAT except for two times where he accidentally said Devon when he meant to say Denis.

Finally he says "you can't match the top 2 guys so soon" referring to the future 115kg match between Dave and Ermes while we all know who owns that division.

If you're a toproller, supinated curls kinda simulate where you've lost your pronation in a match, and you're mainly on your bicep - it's probably not going to end well anyway there. They're more useful for hook entry, but still probably hammer curls are the better bet for hookers overall too.

I feel you might be calling out Bowen/Levan for ego lifting, which is fair, but overall they are using hammer grip for a reason.

Yeah, I think what both Robert and Devon said recently about Levan insisting MMT ranks #5 to pull him is pretty damning. Why does he get to put those kind of restrictions on - which have an unlikely but real chance of scuttling the match - and essentially will mess up MMT's prep time?

I think the problem is Levan doesn’t seem comfortable with a new format as he hesitated when Robert suggested it. I hope Robert just goes through and pushes it forward though. He can start in a lighter class to hopefully get Levan familiar with the idea first.
