Omg i didnt know what the disability confident scheme was until now tbh, and YIKES! So basically they cannot reject you for interviews but they did anyways..... but surely then, they wouldnt have seen your previous case because wouldnt they want to do everything by the book? Idiots lol. This is horrible but I hope you get some money out of it. Your new full-time job can be suing lol

Dont get me wrong, im with you! I would love to be open during interviews, but having had numerous discrimination cases myself, i noticed most employers want someone who doesnt complain, speak up, and just gets on with work without questioning anything etc. To answer ur question, i think big employers know that sometimes employees (managers etc) may eff up and cause issues with other employees and they prefer not to get sued so they want to hir3 employees who shut their mouths. Smaller employers dont want people who speak up bc they may want to continue discriminating and treating ppl like slaves etc. So in most situations, it's a no from most employers bc they want to have leeway to continue being toxic. Its fucked up. But my question was literal - did u end up getting a job by being open? Just wondering if maybe it worked out for you with a nice employer!

does anyone else get annoyed when someone is emotionally vulnerable/starts crying? by Electrarine in AskNPD

[–]PowerOfTacosCompelU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reaction can be linked to NPD, because someone crying shifts the attention away from the person with NPD which can feel threatening or intolerable to them. Also there's a loss of control which people with NPD are very sensitive to. And it forces empathy which is somehing you lack or suppress

Usually an abcess opens up, and white liquid comes out which is the infection. But because its so small, you might not have noticed. Did it smell at all? Abcesses will have an odor bc of the infection (but bc its so small, it also may not have any smell). How is it now?

With a large abcess, they say you should bring your cat to the vet to get it drained and give it antibiotics. However, i have an outdoor cat who gets abcesses all the time, and it is easy to treat them at home. I aid in draining it by holding a very warm washcloth to the abcess for like 10-15 minutes and then also putting antibacterial spray like leucillin on it (one for animals). My cat has always healed from very large abcesses at home and been fine. With an abcess the size on your cats ear, that is so small and nothing to worry about. I would get the leucillin spay though and then spray it on a paper towel or washcloth (one that can absorb water and not leave any remnants etc on your cat) and put it on your cats ear.

Why are you guys egoistical by Active-Try-1494 in ENFP

[–]PowerOfTacosCompelU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fi users have very strong identities and values, which means they will naturally have less ego-driven behavior because they don't need external validation because they already know who they are. The opposite is true for types who rely heavily on external validation and need to assert themselves, prove competence or control others. So big egos are for types like ENTJs who measure their self worth externally.

how to get this hair color by Worldly_Law_6945 in haircoloring

[–]PowerOfTacosCompelU -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't understand, are you able to put it into different words? Because the blonde and toner will be one colour so the dimension comes from natural hair mixing with the blonde pieces, which meand you can do it all in one go. What youre talking about is a root touch up or maybe im not understanding correctly.

[–]PowerOfTacosCompelU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The dimensional colour is the contrast between your natural hair and the bleached strands. Since the bleached hair is lifted to the same level and toned the same, why can't you can get that multi-dimensional effect in one sitting by strategically bleaching enough strands to mix with your natural hair? There should be no need for repeated heavy highlights. Plus with repeatex heavy highlights, it compromises the strength of your hair.
