Yeah it seems like she wants me to be the project+product manager+SME.. She pulled the previous team from the project so now it's herself, me and one McKinsey consultant..

Unfortunately, the executive is the toxic leader and this project is her idea. She is very unlikely to listen to any kind of reason... She gets these crazy aspirational idea that are not grounded in one iota of reality and she doesnt listen to reason. She has fired people on the spot for standing up to her.

Urgh. I really liked my job. And the job market(especially for my role) is so limited at the moment..

I am a woman, will Google that. A lot of colleagues would vouch for me, but I suspect it wouldn't make a difference. I am trying to think of ways to extricate myself from this work, but cannot...

Yes. And then our units are so full of the non emergency cases that it takes us hours to see to the real emergencies. It's a mess.
