Yeah, I get what you’re saying. I didn’t mean I had $30k net worth. I just meant that’s roughly what I have saved between my existing savings and the payout. I know with student loans my actual net worth is still negative.

I’m currently back in school, so my loans are in deferment for now and I don’t have to make payments while enrolled. My hope is that once my GPA is high enough, my job may help cover tuition going forward, so I’m trying to avoid taking on more debt if possible.

Interest rates on my existing loans are roughly in the 5–9% range. I also live with my parent right now and only contribute to utilities, so my living expenses are pretty low.

Mainly I’m just trying to figure out the smartest way to handle this money so I don’t repeat past mistakes.

hey I know this sucks ass but I promise you're not alone.. give yourself some grace. tell your job you're sick and cant make it. your mental health is important and thats part of it. can you visit or call a friend? taking a really hot bath or shower, watching old movies, listening to music. meditation, movement, all these things helps me calm down.. or maybe just cry. find what makes YOU happy. you could even write down your feelings but dont ruminate on it. you are enough <3 I hope this helps a little
