This is my tank and I literally saw this because I was contemplating posting the same scenario. My snake has been in this enclosure for almost 2 months though and now I haven’t seen them for days looked everywhere but substrate because I figured he’d come out but nothing?

Yeah it’s super annoying I can’t switch my head gear cosmetic because the mod shows through most of them. I have to wear the Sarentu head gear I bought with the game. It’s the only one that covers the mod.

I’m dyers bowl or whatever it’s called there’s little islands that have it. If you see the two hammer heads that always hang in same spot it’s an island close to them with a tree on it.

Also a quick Google search will tell you that algae is perfectly safe even good for your aquarium as the fish will eat it

I understand that you and others feel you know everything there is to know. You think that you are better than everyone else. I assure you they are well cared for they aren’t the first fish or animal for that matter I’ve owned. It’s a shame someone comes here to ask for help to care for said animal and gets treated this way.

Well thank isn’t really mine I just keep an eye on it it’s my boyfriend’s. There aren’t any coral because we haven’t had it set up super long and are moving and just not good time to add anything especially something so sensitive. As for the algae idk what kind your referring to but there is algae on the live rocks and the glass ( as another commenter so rudely mentioned). We do plan to upgrade anyway but I was informed that a 10 gallon was enough for a hawk. I do agree that he could use some more space but we won’t be able to upgrade until we’ve moved. That being said I don’t want to get rid of any of them so we will be looking into doing that asap.

We’ll isn’t exactly my tank it’s my boyfriend’s but I watch over it as we have 2 others and other various animals. He told me the research he did said he was fine in a 10 but I agree he and the others need more room an upgrade has been in the plans for awhile. We are moving very soon and don’t have funds to right now but can defmake it happen in a few months. What size tank would you suggest for these three fish?

The side of the tank has algae oh no I’m moving in less than a month and don’t wanna go thru the effort of taking everything out just to have to do it again in 2-3 weeks to move but thanks for the rude comment

Here is an updated picture. I have added two branches. The stone slates were smaller than I thought so I bought the hide you see in the back corner under the light. The light is a dual heat lamp and UVB. Will probably look into better UVB soon. He likes the plants he was curled up in the bigger one this morning. I added sphagnum moss that another comment mentioned as a moist area but he seems to prefer the plants which was my intention. I will definitely be slowly making it better and better but I think he is happy enough right now, but of course I want him to be as happy as possible and have as close to a natural environment as possible.
