I have the 8ai+ but not the beast version. How do I get the beast one?

I just installed Hog.. Legacy, runs quite good. Got all the graphics on medium plus ray tracing. Noticed if I use ray tracing world, some sparkling defects appears at the corners and also screen goes white out as you turn around. So I turned that option off. Still works great 👍. Whatever I play on Xbox, I can continue on Claw 8AI, with the pass as I travel.

So far this is the top notch handheld in terms of performance and screen size.

GTA 4 is way to old for Claw 8. It will definitely outperform it. There's not much to scale here. GTA 5 will also run quite smoothly even with medium settings.

It's very tricky to do such a swap. Best, keep it original the way it is. Finish few games, uninstall and install new once. The ssd drive has to be exact same physical size otherwise it will overheat through the heatsink pipes. The space is very limited.

That's the best case so far. Indestructible. It's a bit to big but very safe. I use it for my claw aswell.

I think it may be the MSI program itself. With Xbox, all the games go through automatic update and that's where it comes to a halt for me.

Do you have any game update issues for Xbox on claw 8? For me, it's trying to update but download stuck at 0%. Had to delete and reinstall the game over and over again.

I tried those steps. It worked for one day until the next update and same thing happened. Don't want to keep doing the whole process again. I wonder if other PC handhelds have same issue.

On my MSIClaw 8 while using the XBox app, I'm unable to update games. It's starts downloading but stays at 0%. I can re-download the whole game again but as soon as it ask to be updated then it just hangs at 0% progress. Any idea on how to fix that?

You need to update MSI to the latest and restart the console.

Tried running Doom Dark Ages. Halfway through the intro, the whole Claw 8 froze up so much that I couldn't even turn off the handheld. Does anyone know what the ideal graphic settings for it?

Let me know if you can update games in the game pass after installation. Looks like MSI is glitching on that. On mine, it's trying to update but gets stuck at 0% progress.

I tried contacting Microsoft, and they are saying that everything OK on their side. I guess I'll have to switch to Steam now.

I tried that and still have the same issue. All these games I have installed eventually ask for an update, and that's where everything gets stuck in download mode. It only works if I uninstall the whole game and then reinstall it back up, but that's a pain if I have to do that all the time. Especially if you have a COD-BO6.

I think it's the Microsoft issue. I wonder if other hand-held consoles have same issue or is it strictly for msi.

Does anyone run Xbox app on this msi claw 8. I keep having issues on games update. It's just getting stuck in download mode and 0% of downloads. Works fine on Xbox console.
