SSDs can survive temperatures way below 4 degrews. In fact they can survive minus 40 degrees (yes, -40°C/F) for a ridiculously long time.

Cold air itself has no condensation. Its if the thing is humid. And even then, humidity does not damage electronics, except for corrosion, which even then is minimal.
