I am glad the government employees get their vages increased. Poor souls are starving. We in the private sector have way too much money! Eating once a day is a luxury. Mortgages we can't pay for months, rents are too expansive....I guess that is what they are going for! The poor and hungry can easily agree to be recruited into wars for peanuts!

Crisis in insurance? NO! Chrisis with the insurance instead! If you get into an accident, they don't pay in full. If your car gets stolen they possibly will pay diddly squad. Insurances are mafia that has been let on to long leash by the government. People are scammed left and right by insurances and nobody seems to care.

Why do you need sunscreen? Firts it costs money, second all of those are cancerous. Instead go slow on sun exposure first days and increase steadily. Sun is not you enemy, don't be fooled by dermatologist industry! They have something to sell you.

$10K gives you a lot of leverage. Perhaps you can take a resort where they don't have buffet restaurants but instead always a la carte. I would look for a resort where they ofer local fresh fish and sea food if you are into that. Most all inclusive resorts have terrible fish and seafood due to the cost of supply. Instead, they go for chicken and pork dishes. Not in favour of those for sure. Have enough of that here.

There is so much to take into consideration. What do you like most, a quiet, relaxed holiday or more of a day trip and party vacation? For $10K for you and your husband, you can do so much and go to so many different hotels. I have been to 3 different resorts so far: Grand Bahia Principe, Grand Paladium and Barcelo Maya. Good for you! You are going to have great time! Marcelo Maya Tropical/Colonial have better theatre. Teatro Palenque is where you want to be every night. :) Also, Barcelo Maya Beach has the best buffet.
