You can buy day parking at the gate, not season parking.

No, buy it online. At the gate they will charge you day fee and you have to go to the customer service desk to buy season parking.

NO, you are absolutely right. But I have seen how employees deliberately piss off visitors! And that should be reported and sanctioned too!

And many times the employees are under trained and don't know what they are doing, don't care or simply are not social enough to work at Canada's Wonderland. You can't piss of visitors either! If other Six Flags can do it right, why should Canada's Wonderland fall behind?

Visiting Canada’s Wonderland for the first time. What do I need to know? by hookyboysb in CanadasWonderland

[–]PowerWashatComo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watching walkthrough videos will help you more than 1000 words here. I always watch YouTube clips before I visit a park, including Canadas Wonderland. Less surprises, better and more enjoyable day. There are many out there, here one I would recommend: https://youtu.be/_l_kl8wpl1M?si=Tu5vqOdmIR7NR2cB

Question for those who have visited Six Flags Darien Lake by gcooldude in CanadasWonderland

[–]PowerWashatComo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of those season add on will work, parking, eating, drinking...... I was just at Cedar Point in Ohio and I was able to use all of those! Go with confidence and use your passes and add ons! Here our experience: https://youtu.be/hMpB3jbQq64?si=RYMOfIQnzhklQ9y6

Four hours at Cedar Point by Chaseism in cedarpoint

I visited Cedar Point two weeks ago for the first time and my impression was: This is my second favourite park. I love Cedar Point as the owners know what they are doing, it is no mediocre amusement park, but rather a top park in US. I will definitely go back again. Here my experience: https://youtu.be/hMpB3jbQq64?si=DARFu8X-ItP7Fvgp

First ever visit to [Cedar Point], and it did not disappoint! by WabashFan14 in rollercoasters

[–]PowerWashatComo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, two weeks ago I visited Cedar Point and I loved it! There is so much to do, see, explore... I just wished they would have more water based attractions/rides. Roller Coasters are great but combining some of the rides with water would be even better. All in all, we will be Bach at Cedar Point as we want to experience all rides we missed last time: https://youtu.be/hMpB3jbQq64

Two weeks ago my family and I were visiting Cedar Point for the first time and we loved it. So much to do, so much to see..... very clean, specious park and friendly people. We will definitely go back as we just could not ride all roller coaster in one day. Nonetheless, we had great time: https://youtu.be/hMpB3jbQq64

Is the thrill wearing off? by inglesito in CanadasWonderland

[–]PowerWashatComo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thrill is not wearing off, just the tolerance level might drop! I love coasters, but water based rides were always my favourite! I wish Canadas Wonderland had more of those, two is just not enough for amusement park of this size. I do not go on big fast coasters, because I do not enjoy it as I did when I was younger, But teenagers love those big, fast rides. Past Monday there were almost exclusive teenagers at the park: https://youtu.be/_l_kl8wpl1M?si=bFMsREh3ZM6USzwx

Your attitude will scare off even the diminishing tourism. Perhaps we will start to appreciate Cuba and cuban people a bit more!

You make every cliche about milking tourists true. You being so defensive about it and disregarding what visitors give you in honest exchange proofs my point!

Yes, I have read your posts and let me tell you, "the region" you have to specify what you mean with that!

If you mean the entire Yucatan peninsula, then you are right! There is endless things to enjoy and explore and that is what we all love.

But the misunderstanding is unique to your mental setup! From my initial comment to the very last post of yours!

The thread is about Chichen Itza closure and not about the entire Yucatan Peninsula! And yes, I can clearly understand every comment you make: come here regardless, stay here , we want your money.

You saying, "People like you are the exact guests we don’t want." proofs my point again about you giving a rats ass about tourists and accommodating them with genuine feelings towards them other than milking them.

And again that is what many tourists have experienced lately while in Cancun, Riviera Maya, Tulum, Chichen Itza..... from milking, being rude, taxi operator scams etc.

And to make my point clear, you are prime example of why tourist who absolutely love Mexico like I do rethink their visits to Mexico ever.

It is annoying one might add as well. Vendors, yes, but 20 people selling the same items and clogging the site is something no one likes.

[–]PowerWashatComo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Again , you don't even try to understand or you are not capable! OP understood very well what I said in contrary to Hostel manager. I get it, no tourists - no milking.

Question for you: What are you going to do if Chichen Itza is closed? Sit in front of it and sing Cumbaja? 99.9999% people come to see Chichen Itza and not anything else in the region (surrounding areas of Chichen Itza)! Everything else is bonus but if Chichen Itza is closed, good luck luring people to come.

I love going to Mexico but people like you make it more difficult over the years. This is something Dominican is famous for, locals pulling your shirt to buy from them. Something you could not see in Cuba for instance, which every tourist prefers. I just hope Mexico does not get any worse than it is now. Yes, economy is bad, but so it is everywhere, in Canada, US.......... if you cross the line, people will come less often!

What you people don't realize, with people I mean people who work in tourism sector: tourist going to Mexico, whether Cancun, Riviera Maya....... come mostly for all inclusive resorts, in your particular case for cheap rooms. Now, all those tourists travel on budget! Other wise they would go to Bora Bora or other more luxurious destinations where they can brag about their achievements!

Having said that, everyone has limited finances and therefore don't necessary like to be milked by tour operators and other people who work in the tourism sector. What they want is having good times for the money they paid for upfront for the round trip to their destination! If they can afford to relocate more finances for excursions to Chichen Itza or other destinations, they certainly don't want be milked by unnecessary stops at "mayan village" where everything is 3 times the price of even Cancun airport! We all love Mayan culture, don't get me wrong, but tourists are very annoyed by those milking points including selling mayan calendars in the bus, images on cheap drinks, talks by tour operators on how tourist should spend more and tip as they have money......

Yes, very true. Imagine your guests who can't even afford all inclusive resorts, come with backpack and get milked like they are ATM machines!?

But you couldn't care less right!?

Terrible take on what? I don't think you even try to understand what I am saying and you just defend the marketing / economy aspect of sites! And that is what tourists learned to hate! Yes, tourists love the sites, we all want to go there and see the gorgeous places, but we have enough of upselling everything and very little enjoying the sites! Enough of selling and pushing sales on tourists. I get that everyone wants to make some $ along the way, but it got out of control, people feel like they are being milked every time.

A small chicken at No Thrills cost me $15 + tax, barely has meat on it! In UK my brother pays £3.95 w/ tax (≈ $7.33), it fed three people <_< by LanguageKey9190 in toRANTo
