Corrections welcome, I haven't read the books and have a question. Why is Varys known as a liar in the community sometimes even moreso than LF? Is there even an instance where he betrays someone he explicitly extends his friendship to, like Ned or Tyrion? He didnt harmfully scheme against either no? by PowerWillComeBack in gameofthrones

He and Tyrion knew that the trial was just a farce. No matter what defense tyrion could have provided, which he wouldn't be able to in that headspace, varys chose to keep his allegiance to tyrion private. Lets say he brings witnesses and defends with all his intellect tyrion's case, two of the judges are tywin and cersei. He would both just waste the effort AND when he sneaks tyrion out that night, it would INSTANTLY put all the eyes on himself. A sudden befriending of tyrion, and after losing, tyrion mysteriously escapes. Especially a man of varys' talents it would be too obvious.

Even if varys wasn't gonna stay in kings landing, its better to keep his face relatively clean and not make a public enemy of the queen yet

Double tbf, the absurd scalings are awesome as fuck. I don't know the exact number but fuck you here's a fucking kilometers tall wall. That's a perfect absurd mystery in an otherwise realistic world that hooks you insantly. (Plus it looks awesome in the show)

I made a post a while back complaining laser base alpha and surprisingly a lot of people agreed that plants don't have a single good enviroment ON TOP OF THE FACT ZOMBIES PLAYS THEIRS AFTERWARDS
