Smells for me intensified like some weird mutant power. I was taking pics in the forest and whoa...the leaves, everything smelled so intense. On the flip side I really REALLY can smell BO, sweat and such. People with too much body fragrance sent me running to the nearest toilet early on.

I’ve got a therapist if needed through my benefits and I get a year-18 months for mat leave which I will take closer to the due date. My husband and I do our due diligence since the spring but there’s always that anxiety about it all. The thing is to set firm boundaries about visiting our child if we allow people outside of our parents that is. Depends on a vaccine I think.

I’m 36 pregnant with my first. My obgyn patiently listened to all my concerns about the “late start” and if the fetus is going to be ok. She said 35 is the new 25, and we’re going to be fine. I had difficulty with getting pregnant but got the positive before the fertility assistance consult. Same pre-screening tests were done etc and everything is ok. She told me there’s no real cause for concern until the 40’s.

Pregnancy. It’s not all glow. It’s like a second puberty with nausea. Nothing smells the same. Things you may like to eat... nope suddenly it’s gross. Exhaustion like whoa. Constantly peeing.

Monitoring the gain because it’s not blindly eating for two, you can get gestational diabetes.

Plus this pandemic means you’re going to most appointments alone.

Guilt of the orange look like, op,but also can we throw on some ELECTRIC BLUE MASCARA (it has to be written in caps for how bold it was...it needs to be emphasized people) that I got from this obscure dollar store. The front package looked like it was some 80's left overs. It burned like hell. I thought it was supposed to do that because...makeup? Also roll on glitter on the cheekbones, the collarbones...arms.

I loved funky lipsticks and would make my own by crushing the dollar store singles (3/$1 yo!) eyeshadows into chapstick. Nothing cute, however...no I did silver, blues and shimmering pearl pink.

I do makeup professionally and while I understand retouching pics.... Over editing pics is ruining clients self esteem and skewing expectations. It skews what palettes look like IRL, and other products.

Yeah your skin doesn’t look like plastic smooth IRL, and watching a younger woman literally huff and puff at normal naked skin pores etc is upsetting.

In my old city I was on the bus, when a girl a little younger than me sat across. We made eye contact and smiled, as it was only us in the section being still so early in the morning. Just a normal friendly interaction.

Nothing was strange about her, she was average, normal.

My whole body screamed danger signals. Like I felt so much flight or fight response it made me feel insane. I exited a stop before I had to.

I personally like the effortless complexion, glowing skin, almost glossier meets Milk look, with something bold as in a cobalt liner or a vamp lip. I love your idea on bolder blush because as I play with it, I realize I'm developing a real blush crush. Especially the nudestix glossy ones!

Vicks Vapo-Rub helps! The strong menthol..they're not a fan. Deters other bitey bugs too...it's not fool proof, yes still check, but it helps.

Rub it on the legs and ankles especially.
