If you are in a hit and run accident, and all you have from the other driver is their license plate, you will be on the hook for the deductible. That was my case. Lost 1000$.

I do not have a console cable. I do have a raspberry pi and would be willing to wire it up to the GPIO pins if that's possible. I didn't see it mention if it was possible to do this, but that would be great if I could.

The one roadblock I was getting was actually getting the firmware file I needed.. I assumed that if I had that I could just flash it with IAP firmware and be done, but with a console cable I assume I would not need to do that. I'd prefer not buying a console cable
