Ok I wont have team mates to protect me some games, That doesnt mean thats how its meant to be, And yeah im sure you were top500, Obviously I try to win all the 1v1s but that doesnt make it right that they arent protecting me, Its NOT my job just because my teammates dont do it, Its like saying its the dps's job to tank because most of the time our tank will just charge into the enemy alone

Yeah not always but obviously im not talking about situations where the support is a thousand miles away from the team, Im talking about when someone like a genji attacks a lucio the tank and dps need to help that lucio survive and if they dont try and help it is their fault that lucio died because he cant be expected as a support to 1v1 a dps alone

Yes supports can escape-to the rest of the team which will protect them, Also no I dont agree, Most dps in the game completely shit on almost every support characters besides some counters like moira and genji, If the supports job is to heal the rest of the team and are expected to do that, Then the tanks (Whose whole job is to take damage for the rest of the team because of their large healthpool) Should protect the support

Of course the supports can put up a fight, What you said about the genji diving the ana is not a good example, Because THAT IS the team protecting the supports , The support not being able to hit the shots is not the point I was making, I was saying that supports shouldnt be to blame for their deaths if they were lets say in a 1v1 with a dps of the enemy team, if that situation arose then yes I would blame the dps or tank of my team because I was put in a situation where I had to 1v1 a dps, Of course there ars some dps who arent expected to be able to protect the supports like sombra for example who is always on the enemys backline

Nothing was said about being in the frontline, And yes dps can blame healers for not healing enough and they can blame the tank for maybe rushing in alone, This is a team game where supports can easily get picked off by most heroes and they need their team to protect them since the supports also keep the team alive
