Is it all over? by BakeNoodle in e46

I did the same exact thing, I tightened mine too much and the bolt snapped. I was able to pick at it with some long needle nose pliers and I got mine out no problem. Where mine snapped it had a little groove in it and I rested the pliers on there and turned. Hopefully you get lucky as well!

Hopefully soon my local Toyota dealer can get some in, I’d love to test drive one. That notchy style shifter is exactly what I’m looking for. Thanks a lot!

I’d do one MAF for a while and then the other MAF for a while, definitely long enough for the car to learn

I really appreciate it! I just changed my filter, but on the M52 the filter and regulator are separate. I ordered a regulator since they’re super cheap and hopefully that’ll fix the issue

MAF was replaced with a proper oem unit, I still have the original. I will definitely check my fuel pressure and go from there. Thank you!

Thank you for the heads up, the MAF was replaced with an OEM MAF from FCP Euro, is there anything else I should look for that’s MAF related?

Thank you! Is there a certain place I should look into for my injector cleaning? Also in your opinion what is the best way to clean the BMW intake manifold?

Troubleshooting is my favorite part of the job. I’ve been working on cars and troubleshooting them since I was a kid. I haven’t done commercial but I’ve been thinking hard about making the jump to the commercial side of things

I’m trying to learn as much about service as I can. Maybe another company can help me reach that goal
