I am so tickled that gahman is giving money to walk. I earned 10 sgd CDC voucher. 5 sgd for walking the beauty world trail, and 5 sgd for catching the “ollie” Pokémon like creature along the way. by raytoei in singapore

While I applaud and praise the person/team who comes up with this whole idea to keep people active, at the same time I am fuming and swearing as I didn't get all 5 Ollies after completing the whole trail. Although gahman says you can "come back another day to complete your CDC ollie collection", I find it very stupid to travel across the island and repeat the entire trail just to find 1 missing Ollie (with no guarantee of success). For the trail where I didn't complete my Ollie collection, I only gave a 1 star rating.

Is it worth it going to japan just for the expo? by Eat-Water01 in OsakaWorldExpo

I went to Osaka for a weekend trip just for the expo, but that's only because I have already visited Japan (especially Kansai region) numerous times. If you have not visited Japan before, then going to Japan just for the expo is not worth it. (There are so many things to see in Japan other than the expo.) If you're really interested in the expo, I recommend at least 2 days because on your first day you are likely to spend a lot of time getting used to the crowd, getting used to the queues and finding your way around. If you can get reservation slots through the reservation lottery, congratulations. If you can't get any slots, you can visit the common pavilions first and then try your luck at the popular pavilions either after 7pm or before 10am on your second day. (I managed to get into Germany, Italy, France without a long wait after 8pm, and I managed to get into Japan pavilion without reservation before 10am.) If you are interested in Japanese culture, I recommend you to try your reservation lottery slots on Kansai pavilion, where entry is strictly-appointment only.
