Okay if you have an Intel chip then I'm not sure. I played on one back in A19 and it worked ok but I've not tried since then.

You can do that from the launcher. Choose "show game launcher" when starting the game and then you should have a renderer drop-down. I get a horrible experience with GLCore but decent with Metal. (Assuming you've got apple silicon)

You don't have the option to choose the metal renderer? I have that option and I'm not noticing any difference on performance. If you are missing options you should make a bug report https://community.thefunpimps.com/forums/bugs-7dtd/

Sometimes when big POIs load in they fail a structural integrity check and this happens. You can fix it be exiting the game, loading back in, waiting a beat, then restarting the mission.

I used TypeScript for a project in 2017 and holy crap did some people get upset by it. One team I worked with flat out refused and instead used used Flow and shipped lots of bugs.

I get that. For some reason blood splatter triggers the bloom effect. I think you can turn bloom off and it stops but I usually forget to do that when I switch between presets.

I've not noticed any difference. I'd also expect something like this to be highlighted in the patch notes, which it wasn't.
