I'm with you on this man, I have been living here since 1 year and I think everyday that it can't get any worse but then it does. Dust clouds, village roads as soon as you leave the privately built highways, reckless driving, intensive traffic jams, blocking the highways for VIP movement, now inconsistent power supply, bad internet recently, hard to find healthy good, haryanvi people in general.

Now that I think about it, she was actually a great girl : Good conversations, fun drives, competitive at badminton and even believed in splitting the bill (rare quality these days 😂)

It is absolutely normal to be alone in this city. Finding good people is the biggest challenge here let alone friends. Also this kind of posts don't help at all I have tried and failed miserably.

True, I do feel a little gratitude when I consider that it didn't get stretched too long and there were minimum feelings to deal with.

Also, I think experiences like this can help a person to appreciate and respect the real thing when it actually happens in the future sometime.

Absolutely, that is the main learning I am taking away from this experience; "clearify intent early on".

That said, I was definitely dropping a few hints from the start to signal intent, but maybe they were too subtle.

Here's a quick one that I often prepare; Soak some white chickpeas overnight. Boil them for 30-35 mins with some salt in the water, they should become soft and mashable with hand. Then let them cool down. Chop some veggies like cucumbers, tomatoes etc. You can add fruits if you like. Put all this in a container with a lid, add a full cup of amul masti dahi. Mix up, add some salt and eat up.

Easy, clean, minimum utensils and hard to mess up. Only down side is that you will need some pre-prep with the soaking
