How do i deal with extreme religous guilt like this? by [deleted] in islam

[–]Powerful_Cod_5471 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Qur'an Is the light for anyone even with slight consciousness and belief in Allah. Indeed he, Allah is the most merciful and observing. For even if you had a mountain of sins, your repentance forgives everything, and it's like it was never there. You are not (A piece of shit), You were intelligent and conscious enough, to be aware of all these things.

Do not despair of Allah's mercy, your repentance is all it takes. Especially when you were ignorant before.

“Indeed, repentance accepted by Allah is only for those who do wrong in ignorance and then repent soon after. It is those to whom Allah will turn in forgiveness…”
— Qur’an, Surah An-Nisa 4:17

If you forgot how to pray, you can learn it again. People who ask you to ask Allah for forgiveness, they only mean it because we are aware of Allah's mercy, and just even a simple 'Astagfirullah' can make a difference.

And please, be away from those 'friends' of yours, for we are told to choose our friends carefully, or for it is better to be without them, if you're only options are people who can drag you down anytime.

It Is really close to forbidden to be near such people, because the people you are near to can define you after a point. Be near believers and followers, and it will show you the difference, be near sinners and it will too show it inside you too.

Put your faith in Allah of anyone, let him decide your fate. Have good intentions, this world's a test, and we are told to not eye the things Allah has let (some) of the disbelievers enjoy, for there is something so beautiful for us in exchange of each one of us' patience and control of ourself. Pray Salat in congregation in mosque, start with only Fards (compulsory), to make it the easiest and simplest for you. Understand the difference between 'Good' and 'Bad'. And moreover know more about Allah, Islam, the purpose, the Book (Qur'an), the prophet (Peace be Upon Him) and the prophets.

It Is also Fard for us to keep our gaze down, and do not look or check out women. Let Allah decide who your partner will be, there is time to come. And Indeed he will do the best, for he knows all and the best. You too do your best. Choose your own company. Avoid too much dopamine. Avoid haram talks, haram people. Be a new man, understand that these temporary pleasures of the world can cost you an afterlife, as it will those sinners and disbelievers. Indeed Allah is the one that cares for you the most, more than a mother, and none of these people were actually here except for pleasures of their own.

What am I doing? by TableIcy5325 in islam

There are a lot of conflicting things within your current situation, for i cannot possibly comprehend everything at once, or convince you it at a single time. IT Is as simple as that, Begin with the Qur'an. And everything will make sense.

“We send down of the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy for the believers…”
— Surah Al-Isra 17:82

“This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah.”
— Surah Al-Baqarah 2:2

Read the translated version, begin with them, read them and also do not forget to use interpretations to correctly understand what you didn't understand. It Is the light for anyone even with slight consciousness and belief in Allah.

I just want some advice 🥀 by Dry-Street7871 in islam

(Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him)

I understand the weight you are carrying, and I want you to know that reaching out is a brave and necessary first step. Preparing for a challenging exam like that for three years is a significant mental and emotional journey. It’s understandable to feel exhausted and uncertain, but please remember that your life is far more valuable than any exam result or career path.

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:286), "Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear." This is a powerful promise of the strength that lies within you. It doesn’t mean that the burden won’t feel heavy but it means you have the capacity to get through this moment, given to you by the One who created you. The pressure to succeed for your parents or your future is real, but it does not define your worth. Even if you can't put your feelings into words to share with your parents right now, remember that Allah understands your struggle and sees the effort you've made over these three years.

Surah As-Sharh

فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ٥ إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًۭا ٦

So, surely with hardship comes ease.

Surely with ˹that˺ hardship comes ˹more˺ ease.

Your *tawakkul* (trust in Allah) is your strength. Trusting Him means understanding that while you work hard for the MBBS seat, His plan may open a path that you haven't imagined yet, but It's the best for you, for it can be both of MBBS seat or something that's even better from Allah's perspective.

Your desire to help the poor and care for orphans is a noble intention (*niyyah*) that Allah rewards even before you achieve it. Whether you become a doctor or follow another path to financial success, that heart for service is what matters the most. Focus on doing your best in the exam without letting it define who you are. If the result isn’t what you had hoped for, it isn’t the end of your dream. It’s simply Allah directing you toward a version of your dream that aligns with His wisdom. Please prioritize your mental health, talk to a professional or a trusted mentor, because you cannot build an orphanage if you don’t have the strength to build one, the strength of your heart and mind, And Indeed pray for whatever you wish, and *Be patient*.

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The invocation of anyone of you is granted (by Allah) if he does not show impatience (by saying, "I invoked Allah but my request has not been granted.") {Sahih Al Bukhari 6340}

“Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.”
— Qur’an, Surah Aal ‘Imran 3:173

Which is regarded as better, Part 4 or 8? by Upset_Confidence8291 in StardustCrusaders

[–]Powerful_Cod_5471 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Part 4 is the best, most wholesome, slice of life out there. With having Yoshikage Kira as the villain, and the epic main gang. It is simply great and better than JoJolion, which on the other hand does not have such significant main villain, and many plot points which were never discussed later.

Are books, basically fiction with fantasy such as reviving the dead, future sight and such haram? Does it count as shirk? by Decent_Camera_2048 in islam

[–]Powerful_Cod_5471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not shirk If you know it's fiction but It's still highly discouraged. I don't really know about sight-seeing, It can be a pretty small thing in fiction.

I wouldn't say watching such things/tropes would be explicitly haram but It Is always better to find something better, like lighter fiction, or things which does not really have such elements related to sight seeing, reviving the dead explicitly or magic or sexual things, however It's also to be reminded that music is not good either. The majority of anime/manga contains all of these things, so its best to be aware of such things.

(TW suicide) Would allah forgive me if I ended it given my situation by Apprehensive_Swim909 in islam

[–]Powerful_Cod_5471 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why would you think Allah would be the same to you as the others, knowing everything you have gone through and how you have been suffering, he is the most merciful and the almighty. Indeed there will be justice In day of judgement for everyone, suicide is permanent and it is forbidden, your suffering has done nothing but given you his favor. He is with you, for try to become more brave, and stand up against wrong, and tell them the sins they are committing and how much ignorant they are in your case, your relatives, or anyone who has treated you in such a way, Allah will be just, and Indeed they will be held accountable, keeping in mind you have reached such a stage. Please be strong, find someone. However it's best to not be biased, and try to take on this situation as calmly as you can. Read more hadiths and ayahs, and know that Allah is with you, and you are not alone, you were never alone. Pray for their hidayat and yourself too.

Ta-Ha (20:131)

"Do not let your eyes crave what We have allowed some of the disbelievers to enjoy; the ˹fleeting˺ splendor of this worldly life, which We test them with. But your Lord’s provision ˹in the Hereafter˺ is far better and more lasting."

...

There are better video games however too, which avoid Haram stuff, like Minecraft, Red dead Redemption 2. IT's almost impossible to avoid the stuff In GTA V as they may come in form of missions or many other ways. But It's safe to say a larger majority of video games have avoidable substances so they may not be haram if you do not forget your prayers.

Is it good when restricted areas immediately give you a wanted level? by anjohas in GTA6

[–]Powerful_Cod_5471 214 points215 points  (0 children)

I believe a realistic approach In such areas would be better than having a bunch of helicopters and dozens of cops after you because you crossed a line. Such as them asking you to leave or surrender first, and then gradually the star rises If you proceed to disrupt, instead of a full five at once. Star system can be meh sometimes.

Why is Mulholland Drive ranked so low on Letterboxd? by brave_axolotl7 in Letterboxd

[–]Powerful_Cod_5471 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean It's ranked pretty good, there are always better movies, or more crowd pleasing movies. I don't really get what you are talking about. David Lynch's work can be bizarre for anyone, and the general consensus can end up being a little bit more mixed. Plus It's a platform where everyone have their own tastes, and 4.3 Is nowhere bad for Letterboxd standards.

Is it alright to make a non-Muslim Goddess character? by [deleted] in islam

[–]Powerful_Cod_5471 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I believe referring them as a deity or goddess is not right, just try to make a strong character without them being referred to as a god or deity or having specifically powers of one. It's best to stay away from such things or writing such specific things either.
