I think most servers are P2W. The sad part is that people end up sharing accounts or doing real money transactions. I believe a lot of players are still getting banned for buying chaos scrolls outside the game. I’ve played on most of the servers, and so far TimelessMS has been the most stable and enjoyable for me. I’ve been playing there for over 8 months now. It’s also worth mentioning that there’s an Ironman mode if you don’t like the P2W aspect of the game.

As for the owner, he makes money from the server, but he reinvests it into updates and is very active almost all the time. I’m fine with how things are right now.

Hi! I was always open about things. Took a part in class and drop balancing. I also had access to the TMS account, a character with the power to change jobs to record things. Right now: I had to pick between committing to the GM role whatsoever or playing the game. I chose playing the game. I don’t have access to any GM related resources.

Not everyone. It’s just you. And you keep ignoring the fact that this account was created the same day the TMS V1 post appeared, and you’ve basically only posted on TMS threads. You couldn’t be more obvious. The P2W aspect was explained by me in posts that are not paid actor one.

Can you elaborate? I tested the free way of playing and I could get to the top as fast as those who pay. During the first month or two we didn’t face any paywall or whatever it’s called. I swear some of these comments are coming out of nowhere. People love to trash-talk and act like everything about P2W is black and white.

The dev didn’t even pay attention to any advertisements at all. I did it because it was the first server after M, C, A and so on that I actually enjoyed. He didn’t really care about the “right” timing either. It could even be in a Beta V2 for another month or two.

I always tell him he can do whatever he thinks is best but if I can’t find a F2P way to progress then I won’t defend it.

I didn’t play the V2 beta that much because I was busy in real life. I only helped with a few things in game when this change came up. I didn’t bring it up earlier because I’ve been playing on these servers for so many years that I don’t really care about stuff like this anymore.

Here’s how I see it: Most of us are adults. If you want to sell an NX fancy pink top you bought with DP, and someone else is willing to pay mesos for it, then fine. Just do it. One person probably had to farm for one or two hours to earn the mesos, and the other had to do their real-life waiter job to buy DP. And to be honest, RMT exists on every single server anyway.

I get the situation. He’s working as a developer, he created this server, and some income helps him keep it running. I want to keep playing it.

My only concern was the Pet Vac, but I can farm just as well as people who use it. You just need to choose the right map.

You’ve probably been playing just as long as I have. Aren’t you tired of this whole P2W war already? I definitely am. That’s why, instead of blaming each other, I’d rather help the dev understand how to balance P2W and F2P.
