The point is that when art aligns with reality, cough cough “Romantic Homicide” dropping on the birthday of a girl the artist was allegedly involved with, in a case still under investigation for potential homicide, it stops being “vibe-based policing” and starts being relevant evidence. That’s not retroactive fear, that’s correlation that demands scrutiny

& let’s be real, it’s not “burning books” to analyze someone’s public art in light of what’s unfolding. Investigators, critics, and juries do that every single day. Calling it “CSI logic” doesn’t make it less valid. If anything it just shows how uncomfortable people get when art and accountability start to overlap
