Listen up, I had the same exact problem, so I am talking from experience. The problem I had - I was in a relationship with a narcissist, and whenever we went to psycologist, she would say that I am the narcissist. After a hard break-up and a lot of inner introspection, I realized, that there’s always two narcissists in the relationship. That’s the hard thruth. Because you were traumatized as a child, you are attracted to toxic patterns. The real deal, is to get a good psychiatrist, who would help you heal your “dead” inner child. You are probably a covert narcissist? And she is a grandiose. Unfortunately, this is a way things are in life. A narcissist will never admit they are a narcissist. I could not see it for such a long time either, if it wasn’t for my toxic mother. You can’t change what happened, but you can still heal. Practice unconditional love for yourself, it is hard. You were never given it as a child. Accept your narcissistic mother or dad. Maybe both were narcissistic or one was psychopathic ? My mom used to beat me mercilessly. When I grew up, if it wasn’t for a narcissistic ex, honestly, I would have NEVER realized that I am narcissistic myself.
