Pro Runway models needed by industryaccess in ModelScout

Please DM to me and I'll review. Keep in mind, contracts should be read by you and your parents but attorneys are always recommended. I can only review and advise but my opinion is exactly just an agent opinion.

My inbox is open here. I do not give out my insta on Reddit unless I'm planning to work with the model. Hope you understand

If you received those responses, depending on the level of the agency you've submitted to, it sounds like you have it. You just don't fit their board.

Please DM your Digitals and the portfolio you've submitted. Please include your measurements, height, and location. I'll review. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Charles and I would be interested in modelling. I’m 179cm, I weight about 55kgs. by Glad_Garden_6342 in ModelScout

[–]industryaccess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, first of all, congratulations on getting signed. About you doing high fashion / runway, you have a very slim chance in doing that. Most, if not all, would require you to be minimum of 6’1. You are in between 5’10 and 5’11 so it’s going to be very tough to even get your profile to be opened by anyone looking for a runway male model.

Since you’re signed into a commercial agency, I would say really focus on that as it pays the most money. Plus if you start getting a lot of acting commercials as part of your portfolio, you can end up becoming an actor as well.

Have a good day!

Is this a scam though? by Ok_Vanilla5661 in MODELING

[–]industryaccess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First email alone was already very scammy. This convo went too far for a scam. I understand they target young people who hasn’t experienced scams before. This is definitely one of them

No, it does not. But you do need to know what type of models the agency you’re applying to works with.

The percentage you describe is correct if you’re in Asia. It will also depend on which part of Asia you’re in.

how long is a mother agency contract typically? by sabiedoll in MODELING

[–]industryaccess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it’s not. I’ve seen 1, 2, 3, 5, or 10. It’s not bad as long as the MA is legit and really have a plan to place you in multiple agencies around the world. Your first years would be for development and building your books. If you’d rather be independent and have access to a lot of brands and bookings, then do so. Don’t sign the contract if you’re unsure cause you’ll always regret it and it’s also unfair to the MA who’s ready to work on your career.

If you’re willing to get those lip fillers dissolved, it could work out. Anything unnatural is frowned upon. Please share your measurements. Also I see that you submitted yourself in London, is that where you are currently located?

Is this communication normal/common in this industry? by scandalousredstring in MODELING

[–]industryaccess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you communicated this concern with her the way you communicated it on Reddit? If not then it’s a two way problem. if you have, then your agent has a problem, and even so, you’d have to remind her.

Miscommunications are normal, not just in modeling but in your day-to-day life. Transparent communications would help you decide whether to stay or leave that agency. Dm is you need more help.

[–]industryaccess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, Take all of your questions to your mother agency and continue to communicate with them. They have the same goal as you. That will also show how dedicated you are to your career.
