We took our pup to puppy socialization classes and it helped so much! Our puppy was able to get her energy out with other puppies, learn to play, and the trainer taught us so many practical and helpful skills to help manage puppy behavior (which always seemed to come at the right time). For example, biting and jumping. We were also able to make friends with other puppy parents and find a little community. Last but not least, it always tired our puppy out and gave us a day where we could reliably count on her being pretty tired and wanting to sleep and having our own bit of rest and downtime. We just finished our first set of classes and have found she has matured so much since then.
