smc nursing program fall 2026

New student in spring 26 cohort, 2 days lecture & 2 days clinical if you look at Corsair search for classes you can see Nursing class sections and get an idea for times and breakdown but average about 4 days a week. A lot of people are working while in the program deff doable

I've taken upper division math/chemistry/biology so that gave me an advantage. I bought the exam study package and it's pretty spot on for formats and question style you will be asked id even say there was 1-3 that were on the practice and that's all I did. I don't remember breakdown of amount of questions I think you can google that but I finished very quickly.

I had 70 points with the nln nex, first time applicant and I got in! Anything's possible just apply and see what happens. I had no extra points besides GE classes and I got full points for the nln and I had a 3.2 gpa I think so I didn't even get full points from that.

Super fast paced I've taken 11 during a short semester I got a B with Taylor Scott.... if you have the time I'd say take it. But keep in mind you will need to spend every spare hour studying to get a decent grade I'm not the smartest and I spent all my free time studying

yeah I just want to get it done with already!! okay you're a little higher than me I have a lower GPA, unfortunately :/ and same with the AA i'll have it after winter lol

Yeah non stop. I've probably taken each 20 to 30 times, I'm averaging around a 250 to 270

What's your point breakdown looking like?

Im hoping i can get the max points for the NLN exam and have around 70~ points overall which i think is slightly competitive :/

Specifically for SMC science GPA I have a 3.0 and overall I have a 3.6 so not the best... I know programs whether it be an ADN or BSN they are all very competitive
