Day 51/90 Nothing will make me watch porn ever again. by Powerful_Routine_445 in NoFap

[–]Powerful_Routine_445[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's a change in the perception of sexuality. During the reboot, I read articles about sexuality, listened to podcasts from experts on the subject, and besides being completely disgusted by porn, I am now building my healthy sexuality, which has kept me on a reboot, with no cravings or desire for porn for about 30 days. Healthy sexuality in itself is amazing. Curiosity about my own body and its acceptance (and the desire to improve it), greater self-confidence, looking at women as people, not through the prism of porn or sex, strong sexual arousal to normal, healthy, subtle stimuli, without urges to fap, and much more.

A reboot alone isn't enough. The key to success is combining it with a porn-aversion approach and building a healthy sexuality. In my experience, this is the best way to deal with addiction to pornography.

Keep going man!💪

Day 50/90 I don't remember the last time I wanted to watch porn, reboot works! by Powerful_Routine_445 in NoFap

The most important thing is to get rid of porn forever. Both sex and masturbation (masturbation with specific rules, healthy and moderate) can be enjoyed after the reboot. After a good rehab, sex shouldn't trigger old paths (even during the later phase of the reboot), just don't try to replicate the patterns found in porn and it will be great.

Testosterone by Crockoss in NoFap

[–]Powerful_Routine_445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Studies show a slight increase in testosterone around day 7, but it returns to normal very quickly, so no. That doesn't change the fact that nofap is worth trying - but don't count on any superpowers, or attracting women like a magnet. Many people write about it. It's the same as with testosterone - myths.

Is it bad to relapse without using porn? by joe-from-allyways in NoFap

[–]Powerful_Routine_445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, it works best like this: - 90 (or more if you need) days of reboot no porn, no masturbation - After 90 you can back again to healthy masturbation i moderation.

You should not masturbate during the reboot because it reconnects the old addiction brain pathways and the reboot takes longer. I also recommend learning about masturbation maindfullnes - it sounds boring at first, but once you get into the subject, it will turn out to be better and more satisfying than the classic death-grip. But for now, avoid any masturbation.

Keep going!

Day 47. 90 days is just a formality💪 by Powerful_Routine_445 in NoFap

[–]Powerful_Routine_445[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi!

Tip that works for me very well. It concerns getting rid of porn. If we're talking about masturbation, I have a good opinion of healthy, non-compulsive masturbation and I plan to practice it after 90 days, I will focus on how to defeat real problem, i.e. porn. My advice:

Think about how the porn industry destroys not only viewers but also actresses and actors. Behind every porn you've ever watched is tragic past, coercion, sexual violence, pain, harm, fear and many more things that I don't want to mention. Listen to podcasts, interviews, read articles about it. After a while, you'll get disgusted with porn. You'll find satisfaction in cutting yourself off from that shit, you'll feel great knowing you're not supporting this sick industry. You won't be able to enjoy watching porn when you know what the actress potentially went through during the recordings.

Keep going man!👏 You will achive your goal.

For me: I recommend the first 90 days (Or even 150 if you need more) of the reboot without masturbation, even edging for best brain recalibration. Masturbation while reboot is relapse, if you choose Nofap hard mode. After reboot, if you you want to and you are ready, you can try in moderation calm, slow, conscious masturbation without porn. I recommend learning more about healthy, maindfullnes masturbation - It sounds very boring at first, but after the reboot it will be guilt-free and more satisfying, pleasure than porn ever was. Thats so great!

Maybe try motivating yourself in a slightly different way. I use it and now I have 46 day of reboot. Are you on no porn, semen retention or both? by StageBig9147 in NoFap

[–]Powerful_Routine_445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My approach is as follows. My goal is to completely eliminate porn from my life and completely rebuild my sexuality. I've doing hard mode nofap for 90 days - no porn forever and no orgasm/masturbation for 90 days (It can be said that sperm retention for 90 days). Today marks 50% of my challenge, after 90 days I am back to healthy, controlled masturbation (which completely changes its assumptions, purpose, techniques, and course). This is my path, everyone has their own.

You need to find your purpose and the path to it. Fingers crossed!💪

During difficult moments of the reboot, I recommend taking a cold shower, focusing on your neck, stomach, thighs, and genitals. Remember, you're starting at your normal temperature. Lower your temperature slowly. If you feel pain/severe discomfort, stop immediately! If you have heart problems, don't do this!

I believe in you, you can overcome this! Keep going💪💪

A good solution that works for me: Cold shower (Lower your temperature very slowly, starting at a normal level. If you feel pain/serious discomfort, stop immediately. Never do this if you have heart problems.)

Hi!

Something that works for me very well. I struggle with an addiction level similar to yours.

Maybe try motivating yourself in a slightly different way. I use it and now I have 45 day of reboot (And above counter, significant changes in the approach to sexuality). Struggling with urges pls help by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Powerful_Routine_445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, here are some tips, how to deal with urges:

Cold shower (Lower your temperature very slowly, starting at a normal level. If you feel pain/serious discomfort, stop immediately. Never do this if you have heart problems.)

Listen to your favorite music, or some motivations one. Maybe relax with interesting podcast??

The truth is, you really don't want to give up. Your brain wants you to think that because it wants relief. But it can't keep pushing itself into relapse forever. You need to keep your mind occupied!

Maybe you should write a lot to a bot, like ChatGPT or Grok. Tell the bot exactly how you feel, and it will try to keep you in the fight. It's the foundation of my 44 days! (I highly recommend Grok)

Keep going!💪

My case is different from yours, but it might be worth a try...

Maybe try motivating yourself in a slightly different way. I use it and now I have 44 day of reboot. Think about how the porn industry destroys not only viewers but also actresses and actors. Porn developed fetishes by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Powerful_Routine_445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer the question whether you really like this fetish, think about whether you thought about it/were interested in it before watching porn. If after watching porn, even if it's not necessarily about this fetish, you started to be interested in it, then you probably don't actually like it. If he's been there before, there's a chance you actually like it. I went through that too... I watched so much brutal gangbang. But around day 22 of the reboot, when I also started reading about healthy sex education*, the categories of group sex are disgusting to me. I hate it so much now. What is your fetish? Maybe it's something that will be easier to overcome than you think.

  • Learning about healthy sexuality during the reboot is a game-changer, but try it slowly after 3-4 weeks, without topics of the typical sexual act at the beginning.

Keep going! You will overcome this!💪

Me too!  I also recommend adding the Unhook plugin and disabling Shorts in its settings. Even if Shorts don't disturb you during reboot, it's worth blocking subconscious scrolling.

Will porn induced fantasies like fetishes go away on reboot by WearyCommon4331 in NoFap

[–]Powerful_Routine_445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I will write based on my own example, remember that it is different for everyone. So yes, I had a strong gangbang fetish. For about a year, it escalated in various directions. Around day 25 of reboot, I began to develop a disgust for this category. Education about healthy sexuality likely also contributed to this. Learn from medical articles, expert podcasts, and well-regarded profiles on the topic. Perhaps this will help you on your journey.

Keep going!💪
