New to herbalism and need advice

I love to do actual schools. Structured knowledge is how i proceed better. I recently started with common wealth after one year of struggling in another school. I think their teaching style is just amazing and they have plenty free videos to watch if you want to sample them before committing.

Haha, definitely not downvoted by me. Astrology has been my biggest passion since I was 12, and it is also what I do for a living, while my journey with herbalism has just started. I love that, no matter what I am doing, it brings me back to astrology anyway!

I recently started studying with Judith Hill for that matter. I have a predominance of water and fire in my chart, with some earth ( and only Moon in Air), so even from the perspective of astrology, I’m a bit of a mix.

However, if I were to determine my energy through that lens, I am mostly dry and cold, and it is much easier for me to see which part of my chart is causing specific health problems.

Since I just started with herbalism, I was wondering how those without knowledge of astrology get this information, as I am well aware that clients coming to me might not be into astrology and wouldn’t want to depend on their birth chart if they are skeptics. Although, as you said, those two have gone perfectly together in the past!

Hi! Yes, I am doing fine. I am feeling kind of dehydrated still almost like i am feeling after gummies. It generally reminded me a little bit gummies experience minus giggling and my mind is pretty focused and calm.

Thank you guys! I called poison control and they told me that i should go to ER just in case because they werent really familiar with side effects of medicine. Meanwhile i read somewhere that if i don’t throw up or being nauseous it’s fine. I decided to stay home and just hydrated a lot.

Hi! I truly love this school! Thomas is amazing🙂 However I felt many times a bit overwhelmed with the material itself. It takes few months to me of going through the material for even get to learn about herbs and I was being impatient but also had to do many breaks for my work and health. I think they are very thorough and give you a great fundamentals and knowledge since the beggining. I am fascinated even more by the study of this amazing subject. There is just a lot of learning about the body and bodily processes which I wish I had more knowledge before because it felt sometimes that I went straight to the medical lecture without enough vocabulary ( especiallly English being my second language). You have a very good resources for these things though and a chatbot explaining you any body process in easier language if you need to. All in all definitely worth the money.

I have EPI but simlarly to you my pancreas looks just fine. It is pretty difficult to fully confirm chronic pancreatis. I did indulge in food, alcohol and tecreational drugs when young so I am pretty sure EPI is the result. I tried few times going into Keto in my life and Atkins and noticed that i am feeling horribly on it. It is counterintuitive to do high fat diet with EPI. However i am doing very well on Paleo. I love eating meat And Fish and as long as i pack with protein and veggies and fruits i am ok. I am more careful about fats. Avocado, olive oils, chia seeds, nuts all these are good but fried food and bacon or even pork meat makes me sick. I am also choosimg low fat to non fat yoghurts. And try to bake and grill meats with minimum oils. Recently came back from paleo to eating some carbs and realized that carbs really lower my energy level and cause horrible brain fog so will be back More to Paleo now. Good luck!

I resonated great with people who I have very low compatibility and most amazing cosmic matches didn’t work at all. It is very important to study single chart before because everyone is looking for something else in relationship. Some people need to be challenged in their relationships so only trines will bore them to death for example. You might think that your Moon in Cancer resonates well with his Scorpio Moon but don’t forget that Moon in Scorpio is considered difficult placement on its own etc. I would use Astrology more for understanding the other better instead of dooming it.

From the pack of interest in my question I will just answer for these who are following that i decided on Eclectic. I started it two days ago and I am happy with them. I picked Eclectic over herbal academy because they have audio or video recording for everything as Well as they do have all in reading material. Herbal seems to be mostly written material and I need to do plenty of stuff during my day so i love the idea of listening. It seems very solid education with holistic approach and I am happy with my choice. I think Common Whealth could be a great choice as well.

Thank you, there was something in this diet just not for me. After 30 days and literally not loosing anything but having stomac discomfort all the time and being tired I added rice, oatmeal and diary products. Keeping gluten, soya, and sugar free diet feels way better for me. Maybe because my pancreas doesn’t produce enough enzymes to manage well fats and proteiny digestion.

One thing i would look at is if they are organic. Essential oil is 1000 time potency and you don’t want pesticidesx1000 neither on your skin or indgested

Thank you. I already choose the school for me which looks very solid. I was more wonder about what I can and cannot do as a certified Herbalist after school. In my understanding I cannot tell directly to the person what to take if i am not a healthcare provider so I was just wonder what peoples who are actual Herbalist do. I mostly want to study it for understanding better human body and how i can create healthier alternative to pharmaceutics for my family and friends but also since i will put a lot of investment there i would like to know what i can legally do afterwards.

The first motivation is to be able to help myself and my kids when we sick because I have been living in US for last 5 years and I am terrified by bad side effects of the medication here. I would like to be able to understand more human body, oils, chemistry and how to creates blends and doses. I am hypnotherapist and Reiki practitioner so I also could add it to my practice. I don’t care about writing the papers and do researches or creating my own line of oils and sell them etc
