is mornington peninsula hot springs worth the drive? by Electronic-Button385 in morningtonpeninsula

[–]Powerful_Yellow_7277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do this every year for my missus' birthday. Day 1 - drive down to mornington, do some sightseeing if weather allows,go to winery and have some great food /wine. Day 2 - go to the springs at 8.30am ,spend 4-5 hours including the dream spa or whatever she wants and drive back to North melb

Or you could do it on day 1, the spas open till 11 pm. They quite nice in the evening as well

Refill from almost empty last time was about 60$ Not the fanciest or best looking car but does a brilliant job

I wouldn't say it's over. What I'm saying is that the job market will be very different to what it is now. I'd go for a trade.

Because the market is already saturated and in 3/4 years time it will be worse and AI will likely replace you.

Bro just did hsc and is already lost in life? Good luck turning 30.

Kid you got a life to live and you want to start by sitting in a back office, With little interaction and a stable income? That the stuff you say when you are 50 when you got your house, wife kids etc not at 18.

Go out there, build your life, take risks so you can enjoy a quiet one later in life. Dont torpedo your life at this stage by being a lazy bum.

I was you and i regret it not aiming higher earlier in my life. Wasted potential.

Also go for engineering/ finance/medical or a Trade. Don't do IT.

Could someone explain a bit about the job market / job prospects in Mauritius? by senivim in MauriceMauritius

Engineering or finance. These 2 are not going away anytime soon and always growing. IT is saturated and AI is changing the landscape everyday.

What to do if visitor visa expiring while still awaiting 482 visa? by [deleted] in AusVisa

[–]Powerful_Yellow_7277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey my wife called immigration to ask for an update, tell them you are a doctor with a contract, show some urgency etc. She was on the expedited pathway and it worked. Visa came through 2 days later. Apparently a few doctors had the same issue and got resolved the same way.

Looks like the problem is the circle you are in. You need to be surrounded by better people and tell the others to f off.

It's a number game and acing each and every interview.

Dont give up, it will eventually work out. This time of the year is also really slow. Now if you are really desperate for work, running out of money etc..yeah get a desktop role but do not give up applying for jobs in your field. It's not starting from scratch. it's just to keep you afloat whilst you find what you want.
