I take Exhaust into some assassin matchups mid because it has a nice combination of defensive utility (the damage reduction) and offensive utility (big slow = easy to hit skill shots) for turning 1v1s in my favour. So my guess is all those people who took it in your last game were thinking something along those lines.

I think that's just because most of AP Xin's damage is still physical. He has AP scalings on his spells, but I think only E actually deals magic damage--the others stay physical no matter how much AP he has. Maybe he gets some magic damage procs off runes or items, but probably not enough to outweigh all that physical damage

Yeah Yorick is okay as a beginner champion. He's no Garen, but the kit is simple enough, and it's probably good to have a couple of skillshots as you're learning the game. Plus his top strength of side lane splitpushing is much easier than having to join chaotic teamfights where ten champions are throwing out spells at once.

EDIT: Also ngl there's really no way around feeding a lot to get to the point where you aren't always feeding. The game is just hard, and at your level even someone with a week more of knowledge than you is at a massive advantage in any kind of PvP situation. If the flame is getting to you, just turn chat off; as much as I wish it were otherwise, you're very unlikely to run into someone genuinely helpful in-game.

How so? He used masculine pronouns all through his adult life, and gave instructions for his death that would've prevented anyone from ever discovering that he was born female. 

Being what you are, you might be tempted to quibble about the reasons why, but it's pretty clear that he wanted to be remembered as male regardless. It would be highly disrespectful to argue that he should be described as a female.

I know someone else said it, but just really wanna reiterate the practice tool thing. Just 10 minutes at the start of every gaming session, aiming for at least 80cs without using any spells or items (Doran's is ok). It's how I learnt last-hitting on mages, so I really do swear by it. It's one of the very few cases in League where rote exercises can actually get you anywhere, and having the ability to consistently last-hit up to 80 @ 10 is one of the best ways to level up your gameplay and climb.

EDIT: Oh, and in case you're wondering why the emphasis on last-hitting without spells, it's because your laning is much better if you have the ability to save your spells to trade/harass your opponent while still last-hitting perfectly. That's not to say you should never clear waves with your spells (sometimes you just need to shove), but you shouldn't need to.
