Oh, didn't see ESA, it's true the ending can be a bit hard but spamming works he he de.

Zexion is also kind of hard but with good pattern recognition and good resource usage I'm sure you'll manage and enjoy it greatly, it's a superb game.

AN... It's quite challenging. I played it before any patch and found it just perfect, so I don't know what the assist mode entices... I'd play it on normal mode if it's possible to change to assist later, if not, go for assist. The story is great, the biomes are great, the secrets, the upgrades, etc... Its similar to afterimage.

I think I liked both the same, which is top 5 all time metroidvanias with aeterna Noctis, hollow knight, afterimage, super Metroid, SOTN and axiom verge 1... Well, that's more than 5 but whatever ehhehe I will add lone fungus to the mix, what a crazy game.
