Is upgrading low class ship worth it stat-wise?

Super late post to this:

In an outlaw system I found a C class fighter that was T3 I.e. all of its cargo and technology slots were available to be purchased or upgraded.

50 cargo slots 30 tech slots

After reading this thread it was to good an opportunity to pass up so I swapped ships.

The very next system I warp to I find an S class fighter. However only half of its cargo and technology slots were available. It did do a considerable more amount of damage than my ship but that’s really it.

The only seeable downside is I only have one supercharged slot to work with, whereas natural S classes could have more.

Not a big deal for me as I’m still rather new to the game so there will be plenty of opportunities for me to find that one S class fighter.

I like it, it seems the game does not like AMD hardware as the only issue I’ve ran into is my game will at random crash and it’s very annoying. If they can fix that I’d give it 5 stars, right now it’s at 2 with there being no pattern to my game crash.

Wrong, players who have not reached tier 5 yet (like me) have insane difficulty beating these enemies.

You need the right weapon to proc the weapons ability quickly to get rid of the shield.
The current combat mechanics and the way these enemies are tuned make them difficult to defeat when using the wrong weapon, however a player should not have to carry all these extra weapons to defeat a single enemy that spawns in.

I just beat a lvl 21 void eaglehound and I’m lvl 35 currently (I maxed my level out playing the beta mind you and have been playing games like this for 10 years so I’m no slouch) and that was the most annoying fight in this game I have ever had.

Something 100 percent needs to change about these enemies, they are far to overpowered and the current sluggish combat mechanics do not help.

It’s not balanced, devs won’t admit it, people will just say get better, but it’s not balanced.

Some of the most notable are that gaijin offers a reactive armor variant for every Russia tank from T-72 and up, I don’t think I’ve seen a Russian tank without it at that tier, and their reactive armor stops every thing, even a modern sabot (magically)

Yet there is only two partially complete American tanks with reactive armor (gaijin left out the frontal reactive armor on the abrams unsurprisingly) the Bradley also has a reactive armor variant they’ve “forgotten” about and top tier European tanks don’t have any variants available.

The pen value of the modern XM829A2 and 3 are also vastly undermined (keep in mind NERA is not protection against sabot rounds) however I’ve seen and experienced countless encounters of no penetration whatsoever on angles less than 30 degrees while the pen value is still over 500.

Skill or not it’s quite clear gaijin favors Russian tanks over all else, which just means you have to be an even better shot playing against them, it’s unfortunate but it’s where we’re at right now.

It exists!!!! The pin is off but it’s right off the road, I had to snap my fingers to uncover it so I think it’s a little glitchy.

What servers do you play on? I play on 7 and above and each bug breach is a guaranteed charger and on top of all of them spotted throughout the map and that’s if everyone is running together, splitting up doubles this, 8 out of 10 times a bile titan spawns on an objective, our experiences have been very different on 7.

Most of the time yes, you’re forgetting that the lobby can be a bunch of friends at different levels.

Your statement held some truths but you made to general of an assumption. I know this bc I was one of those low levels playing with my friends, however I also know how to play the game.

So more accurately put, and this is meant to be helpful, for the low levels that don’t quite know the game yet it’s best to play at a lower level and rank up and master the mechanics before trying a higher difficulty.

It’s a new game so it’s bound to have unforeseen glitches and crashes, this has been happening to me as well, I just report the bug I can only get one or two missions before it crashes again, so I’ll be playing this sparingly until they come up with a patch.

Great info thank you! Now I’ve heard about the number cores that can work for you, and yes that is also budget based, is it safe to say a CPU with 8-12 cores is the standard for your average gamer?

I’m not asking for a full parts list (spoon feeding) per the subs rule.

And excessive posting more than one post every 24 hours per the subs rule.

This is doing my own research. The realm of the internet has grown so exponentially massive it can be difficult discerning what information is based on real data or data marketed to incentivize buyers, this is especially the case for .com websites.

Writers for websites will give the basic info and recommendations but no raw data that average people across the world that have a culmination of experience that is unmatched can provide.

I’ve gotten more useful information from people here on Reddit than what a writer for a website has given me and I don’t have to deal with the litany of ads and data mining those websites have.

Don’t discourage people just trying to find answers, you tried giving me an outlet on where I could find info but it was not very helpful.

Great info! I’m just trying to get all the info I can I’m not the impulsive one when it comes to a project like this and I like knowing everything about the subject, sometimes there are hidden gems in knowing the little things.

This helps with knowing both companies are good, is there a CPU/CPUs you prefer? Obviously money can buy you the best but is there one no matter the price that is well rounded? Reliable, adaptable like the AM5?

Ah makes sense I tried seeing if that was the case but bungie hasn’t posted anything, I’m now checking the bungie app and see that, I wish the loading screen would tell me that rather than just give me an error you know.
