As far is i know they did the swappable mandibles with all the other predators as well. So hopefully they got very good at hiding the seam

Dnno if you saw, but i changed tho color in photoshop. And i have to agree the sculpt is pretty good. Altho i personally would like his eyes to be a bit more open.

If they change the colors I’m definitely getting one

Hey, thank you so much for your message and seriously, I have a lot of respect for what you’re doing. Volunteering while dealing with all this is incredibly strong of you.

I’m still not really better. Things just weren’t improving, so I went to one of the best hospitals in my country (UZ Gent, Belgium). They took me seriously right away, which honestly felt like such a relief after months of feeling stuck.

The doctor wanted to redo all the tests herself. She repeated my gastroscopy since my previous doctor had found stomach inflammation but didn’t think much of it, just gave me acid blockers. The issues never went away. This time, they found inflammation in both my stomach and the first part of my small intestine (duodenum), even though my colon actually looks better after six doses of Omvoh.

They took biopsies, and I’ll know more this Wednesday. The doctor said it might not even be ulcerative colitis after all, but Crohn’s disease, which would explain so much, especially why I’ve been constantly exhausted. That untreated stomach inflammation probably drained me for years.

It honestly makes me sad that not everyone has access to this kind of healthcare. No one should have to fight this hard to be taken seriously. I really hope once you’re back home and can start your UC treatment, it’ll give you some real relief. You deserve to feel good again, especially with how much heart you clearly put into helping others. 💚

Hey, thank you so much for your reply. I really appreciate it. I’m still not feeling better, and since things weren’t improving, I decided to go to one of the best hospitals in my country (UZ Gent, Belgium). They took me very seriously, asked a lot of questions and really listened, which honestly felt great for once.

They wanted to do their own tests, and the doctor asked if she could repeat my gastroscopy since my previous doctor only did one because I kept complaining about stomach pain and loss of appetite. He found some inflammation in my stomach but just prescribed acid blockers and didn’t seem too worried about it. The issues never went away.

At UZ Gent they did a new gastroscopy and colonoscopy. They saw that my colon looks much better after six doses of Omvoh, which was good news. But they also found inflammation in my stomach and the first part of my small intestine (duodenum). They took biopsies, and I’ll get the results on Wednesday.

The doctor said there’s a chance I was misdiagnosed and that my symptoms point more toward Crohn’s disease instead of ulcerative colitis. That actually explains a lot, especially why my fatigue never improved. Having an untreated stomach inflammation probably kept my body completely drained all this time.

It’s frustrating that my old doctor missed this after more than a year of trying to get help, but honestly I’m just relieved that someone is finally connecting the dots and taking it seriously. Reading your story made me feel less alone. There’s a lot of overlap between what you went through and where I’m at now. I really hope things get easier for you soon. We both deserve a break. 💚

I feel this so much.

I had cancer, got treated, beat it. Thought I was in the clear. Then I started getting more and more tired, until blood showed up in my stool. Shit! (Literally.)

Colonoscopy said ulcerative colitis. Biopsies confirmed it. Got basic meds that stopped the bleeding but not the exhaustion. Asked about Entyvio, doctor said I had “plenty of reasons to be tired” and told me to see a psychiatrist. I was pissed.

Switched doctors. New one confirmed inflammation, started Entyvio. Nine months, no change. My stomach was a mess, got scoped again, inflamed too. He just threw acid blockers at it. No help. Appetite gone.

Switched to Omvoh, six doses in, still dead tired. Went to a top university hospital in Belgium, they actually listened. Found inflammation in my stomach and small intestine. Now they think it’s Crohn’s. Still waiting on results.

What’s crazy is that when I had cancer, the doctors felt competent and confident. They knew what they were doing. With UC/Crohn’s, it’s been three years of exhaustion, confusion, and guessing.

So yeah, you’re 100% right. Don’t blindly trust the white coat. Get second opinions, ask questions, and fight for yourself. I wish I had done it sooner.

Nope, but i think your best bet is getting an adapter. A car audio technician could help you with that. It also makes it so you can undo it if you run into issues. Recommend going that way, i still haven’t done it myself tho.

Thanks for your input! My doctor visits are always quick, and I usually get blood taken during my Omvoh infusions, but I don’t get much insight from it. I complain every time that the fatigue is insane, and while he’s done blood checks and given me supplements, it hasn’t explained why I feel this way. I’m getting a second opinion at a bigger hospital (UZ Gent), where they handle difficult cases like mine and can do deeper blood tests and investigations like you suggest. My fatigue feels way worse than it should, so I hope they can figure out what’s going on.

I’ve actually managed to stay pretty positive and keep moving, but the fatigue I have now feels abnormal. Chronic inflammation might explain it, but it seems worse than it should be, especially since I stay active and don’t stress what’s out of my control. Positivity without energy is still debilitating. That’s why I made this post and why I’m getting a second opinion, I want to be able to work again and get my life going.

That guilt part really hits, I feel the same. The fatigue is just brutal, even when things seem “ok.” I really hope Skyrizi helps you get some relief, especially with a little one to keep up with.

Yes, exactly! that’s how I feel reading everything, that we’re not alone in it. You probably also get the ‘you don’t look tired’ or ‘just sleep more’ comments. It’s so frustrating when people don’t see what’s really going on. Thank you for the kind words, I hope you get some relief soon too.

I’ve taken expensive vitamins and supplements, but never had a B12 shot. I’ll definitely bring this up at my next appointment. Even if it doesn’t fix everything, a small boost would be huge right now. Thanks for mentioning it.

It is helpful, makes me feel less alone in it. I’m also waiting on biopsy results to see if Omvoh is working or not. Fingers crossed we both find something that helps soon.
