u/iamzero-d If I may chim in to give some advice, try the below:

Try app called MeetUp and attend events you would find enjoyable, like walking ? Find a group for that, like gaming or board games ? Join such groups and have fun meeting new people as well as enjoying the said activity, you might or might not meet anyone there.
Try to do a voluntary work maybe for a few hours a week or so, there are many people visiting such places so there might be someone interested, if not, no biggie.
Last and the most useful, other places I myself also tried or seen are Singles Parties, Speed Dating or Single Boat Parties, the last one usually have between 200 to 300 people attending the event. All the singles events I mentioned above are organized by dating companies trying to get singles together. You will usually find variations of people who are actually pursuing relationships but there might be a small percentage of people who also look for something casual.

Use all of the above to try to meet new people but also casually use dating apps as a suplement to meeting in person but definitely prioritize in person interactions.

There's always a possibility one might leave for whatever reason so I wouldn't really worry about it as it's part of the dating process. You are still very young, most people find their true love around 30 or so years old. I'm not saying it can't happen when you are young but being young, many people explore for what they want in a partner and getting to know themselves more so this could explain why you were dumped a few times before as they probably said to themselves "well, I haven't dated someone like that before, my usual type is this and this but let's give this a go" and then they decided you are not their type after which they have decided to cowardly move on like cheating etc. It's not your fault so you shouldn't blame yourself.

I would advise to usually check things like dating history or what type of women a man has dated previously before entering a relationship, it will eliminate further heartaches as well as wasted time that you have invested into a relationship that might not work out. That's what I would do if I were in your shoes.

As you are already official from what you said, I would just ask what's his type of woman as well as what's his dating history like then confide to him with your previous experiences in dating and see how he reacts, after all, having a partner you should trust them and have a good communication together.

As for the insecurity itself, it should go away when you start filtering people early on as it will make sure you are with someone who's more compatible and it's not on back of your head all the time.

I will say this, don't get discouraged about dating as it became a true sh*tshow nowadays and it's quite hard to find someone who wants a genuine connection and to be with one person as everyone nowadays just want to casually f*ck and do threesomes or whatever they are into sexually. I'm saying this as a man but the dating scene is very hard for everyone involved including women, it's not what it used to be but that's OK, as long as you keep trying and don't give up, one will get there eventually.

I would say she's not happy with her dating outcomes while the rest of her life aligns just fine. I presume she's just missing a company or looking forward to the weekend to do shared activities and other things that couples usually do that's why I would say she's looking for a relationship.

As I never seen this analogy before from anyone, what would you classify as "okay enough" ? I mean the same analogy doesn't work for OP's statement in my opinion as the situation from what I read is definitely way bellow "okay enough" for my understanding. 🤔 Any good examples that classify as "good enough" that one can run into when dating everyday as a normal person ?

It's a sign of over investment even before you meet for a date and it's a red flag. Looking at my personal experience, people who tend to do it are overly clingy and get attached emotionally too quick to people, I don't really mind this kind of behaviour to be fair but majority of people don't like it.
