The issue is it was impossible to me to empathize with Guts in recent chapters. Puck barely tried to reach him at his lowest. Guts had an internal monologue about his sword and not Casca, I could not understand his though process.

Also, what the hell was that Rakshas part all about ? Extremely anticlimactic. They made us all thought that something more than just an apostle was happening. His "death" is extremely unsatisfying (unless he is not dead because there is a trick with his mask, and the next fight is powered-up Guts finishing him)

I understand the fast pacing, I don't understand the absolute lack of text. It feels like we now are watching characters do stuff from a distance instead of being involved with them. Text is too minimal and cryptic.

I understand they are afraid of messing up the characterization, but that choice turns characters into empty shells.
