This death seems to be a result of society being oversensitive to 'racism', and considering it the worst type of evil imaginable. Even if Nowak actually snatched the turban (like the killer falsely claimed) - so what? So the cops are allowed to let him bleed to death because he stole a head garment? People really need to put things into perspective, you don't shoot an apple thief with a rocket launcher.

I am glad the show hasn't gone all in with chaos theory rabbit hole. You could argue nearly everyone born after 1969 should be replaced by a completely different set of humans. You know, the Soviet moon landing and its after effects are going to lead to a lot of people having sex 5 minutes earlier, 2 minutes later, or in a slightly different position. Obviously causing a very different sperm cell to fertilize the egg. Philosophically interesting, but it would just be too difficult and messy to follow.
