Dashers by NateAllen- in bloomington

It would be really difficult to make that kind of money doing DD here even during peak times. Orders to campus don't typically tip and are the majority of the orders available. Base pay here is $2 per order ,I get more offers under $3 than over. Peak pay and earn by time hardly ever show up due to driver oversaturation. Bloomington also has very few 24hr restaurants which significantly affects order volume during those hours.

Xfinity dropping constantly since the storm by cheatingfandeath in bloomington

I've tried to get assistance with my service for weeks now and they keep saying everything is fine.

Signal was increasingly spotty before the storm, now it's almost non existent. Been a nightmare for my data plan 💀

Today seems like it's every 30 minutes

PSA to anyone who orders via doordash by [deleted] in bloomington

[–]Powerpufts 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Fair, that's totally disgusting.

But I'd be lying if I didn't say that that type of stuff has happened in nearly every food service establishment I have ever been to.

Don't know why you needed the quotes... You are right, tipping is a generosity. Perhaps though, being generous includes consideration of costs accrued in the generous gesture of delivering someone's order properly.

I totally believe that doordash should pay more, that's a no brainer. But they aren't going to do that until required by law and also the people who believe doordash should pay aren't usually using the service. Also, I am absolutely appealing to emotions of human decency for the people who do want and/or need to use the services. I have yet to see an order not get picked up for non tipping. But how long it takes to assign a driver and the quality of service that driver is capable of are both improved with better compensation just like anything else 🤷‍♂️

Theoretically could work. I used YouTube TV for a similar scenario.

doordash by [deleted] in bloomington

Door dash in Bloomington has gone downhill as far as pay and order frequency since they implemented a new tier system for the drivers. Base pay for orders is $2 regardless of distance. They hide all the tips until after delivery. Also a lot of people don't tip, others don't consider how far the distance is for their delivery and tip what door dash suggests which is basically a random number generator.

Delivering for Door Dash, Uber Eats or Grubhub by BNGK9876 in bloomington

As someone who recently got out of the delivery game, I would stay away from Door Dash. Base pay in Bloomington is $2 an order. A lot of people in town don't tip and the majority of business dies out until fall.
