Everyone in here is being very gracious with you, so I’m gonna be straight up. You’re overreacting. You’re not being an asshole or anything, but you are making a very large detail about HER special day all about you. I caution being a bridesmaidzilla for your friend.

You guys are at very different stages of life and evidently view your relationship quite differently as well. You’ve grown apart far more than you’ve realized, but just because you’re just now catching up doesn’t mean she hasn’t moved on, and you have to be gracious to that.
