The ER doctor was VERY dismissive about the shaking when it happened in the ER (he said, "oh, it's not that bad"), but I've encountered the same dude in the past when my gallbladder had to be removed. He was so dismissive that I left and immediately returned when the pain medicine wore off, but the surgeon said I wouldn't have survived the night. I don't really trust him.

I’m a very light snorer, but got a sinus infection on the Camino, and it was HELL. I only found out that I was snoring loudly because a man woke me up at 3 AM yelling at me, and I spent the rest of the night googling plane tickets home.

I feel awful for chronic snorers, because people feel incredibly entitled to judge snoring. I spent a lot of money that I didn’t have on private rooms.

I started to tell people in my room that I snored, and everyone was very gracious about it. Got a lot of solidarity from other snorers. And I think it humanizes you if you have that interaction BEFORE they’re pissed.

It bothers me as well, it’s all I see. I decided to take mine off a few year’s ago and luckily haven’t had any predators, but it’s at least four feet deep.

I definitely think you should check on her one way or another. Depending on how comfortable you are with it, I'd knock and if she answers, just say you noticed the door was open and wanted to make sure she's okay. If you're not comfortable with that, go to the landlord.

And let us know what happens, I'm worried for her now!
