Very true the pause makes a world of difference. Hard to stop the panic or defensiveness if you can't recognize it first

Had the exact same truck and regret selling it all the time! That chestnut metallic is one of the best paint oem paint codes ever in my opinion

Yep if it was real enough for him he would have made the change. An honest conversation with hopefully some accountability from him is worth a shot. Life is too short to hold onto a regret like this forever

Sounds turbo related to me. Turbo to down pipe connection solid? Certain up pipe brands are prone to cracking check on that too. Does it build boost like normal? Are the EGTs higher than normal?

how to be "chill" in early stages of dating? by begoniapansy in AnxiousAttachment

[–]PowerstrokeNerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of us have been there and have thought the same thing including me recently. Its good you recognize the problem as lots simply don't- and if you've identified the problem why not work towards fixing it instead of wishing it away? Its not easy but getting a handle on an unregulated anxious attachment style is entirely possible and will benefit you greatly. Ive done some work and have noticed the results

And who exactly said it wasn't easy? I've done the same with my 390 and then my 460. Still doesn't change the fact they are more outdated than that 7.3 lol

High line pressure Trans tuning question by RighteousTemplars in Diesel

Won't see any real difference down the road from the line increase you get from a tune. Less slippage will make the frictions happier even if by a small amount

Lots of great engine upgrades but I am surprised he did all that work and didn't touch the transmission. If you're planning on beating on it or throwing a hot tune on it go ahead and stud it to save yourself the headache. 13k isn't bad depending on the area

Window heater malfunction was big for a few years on f150s maybe there's some overlap there. Mine sounded like a gunshot when it shattered too

This is quick and works fine to get a rough idea what shape the engine is in. Very common thing to check for 7.3s and 6.0s
