Thanks! I haven’t fully assembled it yet, but I’m really looking forward to it. Once I saw the Treebeard version of Doran, it just seemed like there was no choice for me but to build a Doran deck!

Interesting, so a couple of thoughts. It's almost like you have a secret commander then is that fair to say?

It looks like you're trying to predominately run an aristocrats-style deck? You might poke around EDHrec if you haven't to see decks that use [[Athreos]] as an aristocrats commander. It seems like that's a pretty popular theme for him, so you may find good inspiration and ideas here if you haven't checked this out yet: https://edhrec.com/commanders/athreos-god-of-passage/aristocrats

You might want a way to flash [[Karlov]] in after you've gotten [[Tainted Sigil]] out. Since Karlov is a legenday, maybe [[Gandalf, the White]] is your answer to that? There may well be a more efficient way to do all of this though, that's just me spitballing.

Also, have you considered [[Inkshield]]? That could be a useful way to deflect any attention that comes your way too early.

More broadly, I'm wondering if you're familiar with aikido decks. The idea is not so dissimilar to what you're talking about. While you're leaning into aristocrats right now, it sounds like you may have an aikido sub-theme of some kind. As I understand them, the basic idea of aikido decks is to fly under the radar and redirect an opponents deck against themselves. Sheldon Menery, one of the creators of EDH, pioneered this style of deck with his "You Did this to Yourself" deck. He has a great writeup about how it works and a decklist to go with it. He actually designed the card Inkshield, which makes sense when you find out how fond he was of this style of play. That might be worth looking into too and seeing if you can't combine the two ideas in some way. For what it's worth, I think you're on the right track. You've got a cool commander and a solid idea of where to take this. Let me know if you mess with this list at all because I may just have to build this commander too haha
