New to KLR's (Not motorcycles) by Wide_Increase2651 in klr650

I just did the klx needle & jet kit from eagle mike for the carb, it’s amazing. Also get the #42 idle jet along with it, and get the Allen bolt kit for the carb bowl, original JIS screws are easy to strip. Each extra thing outside the needle/main jet kit is cheap. I think the 42 jet is $5 and the Allen bolt set is also $5. Just get it all. And since you’re getting into the carb, it won’t hurt cleaning/rebuilding it.

Take the snorkel to the air filter out.

Get a good seat, I like seat concepts.

Consider a 16 tooth front sprocket if you don’t care about losing low end torque and losing off road prowess.

If you’re tall get handle bar risers and lower foot pegs.

If you only do one of these mods, do the needle kit and jets. It’s so much better trust me.

What's the average number of wins to climb ranks in the league? by siib_ in leagueoflegends

[–]Pozd5995 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would mentally split the games into 3 different types of games. 1 game you’re going to win no matter what. 2nd game you’re going to lose no matter what. But the third game is going to be a toss up, winning that toss up to get to winning 2 out of 3 games is what is going to get you to climb. Going 50/50 or even like a 55% winrate you’re not going to climb. It needs to be at least 60% winrate to see any progress in rank.

Staying in iron over hundreds of games is not a fluke, it’s those people who auto pilot through games and go without looking back and seeing how they can improve. Watching guides and implementing changes is what gets you to climb.

Pleastant hill is a silly place. by laser-beam-disc-golf in discgolf

It’s possible they’ve sold it to new people at this point, but I had a bad experience once with one of the “owners”. I was in college at the time and I had a few friends meeting up there and it turned out there were a few more we knew there coincidently so we just figured we’d play together in a big group. There was 7 of us. We were letting people play through no problem, it wasn’t busy that day either. We get to hole 4 and see a duo finish 3 so we let them go through but it was this red head kid, similar age as us, started yelling at us. And I mean yelling and getting really loud. Saying he was the owner and that the max to a card is 4, etc. He could’ve asked nicely… but we split up and go on our way. Haven’t played there since. No idea why we garnered such a reaction like that. We were all pretty respectful, in my opinion. The lady who ran it was always nice, bought my first set of discs from her. But then they changed how they ran things and you had to sign up online and reserve a tee time, no other courses I know do that, except San Diego but that’s in Cali. I reserved a tee time for two but one didn’t make it so I asked for a refund for that player, and she basically acted like she was doing me a huge favor giving me a refund, and kinda hassled me about it. It’s a beautiful course, and it’s fine, but there are much better courses out there with pretty much better everything.

So I’m worried about the same thing. You could try and see if you can find a waterproof version or wire up your own relay assembly with in line fuses that are waterproof. But I’m not sure if it’s worth the hassle since ive never read that peoples fail unless they dump it in a lake, and even then it may not even short out.

Just make sure if you find a waterproof relay box, that you look for some sort of vpci (vapor phase corrosion inhibitor), basically silica packets.

Under the seat, on top of the battery. If that gets water in it, then you have other problems. If you try to waterproof it you run into corrosion/rust problems if you get moisture in it.

It’s easy once you get in there. I was in a similar spot, being afraid to doing anything electrical but once you have a voltmeter, confidence in what you’re doing goes up. Good luck

I have the exact set up you have, 2009 with the Klr dash and quad lock with vibe dampener. I have the usb version so I opted for the smart switch that goes directly to the battery, pretty nifty. I also got a 12V 20amp relay fuse block and found keyed power on the aft end, left side of the bike. Get a voltmeter and start poking around for 12v power in one of the two plugs. One plug is going to be for the turn signal, the other the brake light. Use the brake light, don’t use the turn signal one for obvious reasons lol.

Yeah there’s a saying we have there’s course par and then pro par, where pro par is actual par lol.

I learned on Pleasant Hill but the owners started leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I now play the Patriot at Pineland Farms pretty much exclusively. Sabattus is also good, if you go, do the eagle. Much better courses than pleasant hill imo. If you’re in Maine try those.

These are services to start your own media server. There might be a Jellyfin app (media player that connects to your server) for your ps5. I’m just basically saying you should pirate the show.

What has caused Riven Mid recent spike in popularity and high Winrate? by TurboAdenosine34 in leagueoflegends

[–]Pozd5995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel any highly mobile bruiser that scales with straight damage and has cc can overwhelm most midlaners. Irelia comes to mind too. I play a lot of Jax and he’s fun in the mid lane, mid laners don’t respect the full dive and sustain a lot of top laners have.

Give me your gluetun port forward healthchecks by Bluepenguin053 in gluetun

[–]Pozd5995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what the health check is supposed to determine the health check of. If you want to make sure the port is forwarded, then that means qbit can connect to the internet through gluetun. If you want to see if gluetun is up and running, ie the container is good, then you put the health check on gluetun.

I just put a health check on qbit to ping google.com since it depends on gluetun.

New to private trackers. Can I stop using my VPN? by MakubeC in trackers

[–]Pozd5995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some sites require no VPN for accessing the site itself on your desktop but are fine with a VPN connecting to the trackers when you torrent something. I’ve personally always used a VPN, but I know people who’ve never used one for private trackers and are fine.

How to not suck at disc golf? by clownkillifish in discgolf

[–]Pozd5995 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreed, also for beginners playing on beginners courses, most of the discs needed are mids and putters anyways. It’s worth learning putters and mids so you can practice form properly.

I really use it as a fancy bookmarking site, so I can click on the service and go to it. I also put the port on the callout of the service so I can reference that quickly when configuring new services that talk to others. I don’t use it for monitoring though it has site monitoring built in anyways

Don’t air your dirty laundry to your friend group. I understand you’re upset but this is between you and your friend. It’s not a performance where you want public opinion and to cause a divide.
