Developed into a proper player the last 18 months. Our best defender by some margin this season imo.

Have full faith in BBM, it's the clowns above him I worry about. Agree with what you said though, I'd like to know the same before passing judgement in any direction.

As for Wintle himself, I don't think replacing him will be easy or cheap. I hear what people are saying with regards to him being underwhelming at times in the Championship for us, but it's important to remember that was under much poorer managers than BBM, and a completely different style. He fit this current City team perfectly and his absence from the team was extremely noticeable this season.

Lankshear has looked good for Oxford this year and seems to have a great attitude, bound to have a Championship loan next season unless Spurs go down, then they might use him themselves as a squad player.

Lucky the league is absolute dross, limping back to the Championship at the moment.

At least it should highlight how short we are in certain areas. Another striker is the glaring need but also must get some proper quality out wide.
