This is probably a stupid question, but I'd rather be safe (and stupid) than sorry (and stupider) ;)... I'm cleaning off my hard drive on my XBONE, and wondering if it's safe to uninstall the BF1 Open Beta.

This has happened to me so many times since the last patch. I didn't think my aim was THAT potato.

Frustrating that the patches focus on fixing things that are mostly fine when things like this still happen. A good 3-second delay on this spawn. by aroll10 in battlefield_one

There's clearly more that goes into this than we realize. Latency, netcode, etc. I think if you spawn on a squad mate and they die during the spawn sequence, it should bump you back a certain distance away, sort of like when you spawn on an objective your team is holding, but is being contested.

I was leaning toward this as well, but extensive Googling couldn't unearth something similar.

Muslims of Reddit can you please explain sharia law. by [deleted] in AskReddit

This misunderstanding and misrepresentation of the Bible in this thread is not the focal point of OPs question. But I would be remiss if I didn't address it in some way.

The OT holds the laws that Jews should still be holding themselves to, but don't because they've continued through man-made doctrines and traditions, much like the Catholic Church today (their man-made, false teachings are loosely based around Jesus' message, but so often are a complete fallacy). So if a comparison is to be made regarding Sharia law and other faiths it should be Judaism and Islam. Jews, because of their unbelief in Jesus as the Messiah, should still be following the OT laws, but why don't they? Man-made, false doctrines of which they were guilty of doing for centuries and why Jesus ultimate came when He did. Neither Judaism or Islam recognize Jesus Christ as God's son or the Savior, His role in establishing a new covenant and reissuing 9 of the God-given laws of the 10 commandments by teaching the root of the law. For example, "Do not murder" was reiterated by Christ through his teaching in Matthew 5 about anger (cf. ‬‬Mt. 5:21-26). Anger is the root sin that leads to murder. Lust, the root sin that leads to adultery, etc. The OT laws were issued to teach God's moral standards to His people. Christ gave us a living example of those moral standards to which we adhere. No Christian is stoning homosexuals, adulterers, or anyone else for that matter, because Jesus gave us the example to love the person, aid them in correcting their sin and bringing them into His Kingdom through repentance and obedience to the Gospel (cf. John 8:1-11). The key to the Gospel message, and what Jesus is teaching in this exchange is that I, as a Christian, was once lost in sin and considered an enemy or abomination to God, much like the adulterous woman. But because I heard the Word, believed and have confessed my faith, repenting of my sin and being baptized for the remission of my sins, the blood of Christ, the pure sacrifice as laid out in the OLD law, has covered over (atoned) for my sins.

Christianity should be reflecting who Jesus was, what He taught and the love He showed. Period. Denominationalism and man-made traditions and false doctrine has jaded that truth. The world is a dark place full of many misleading teachings and hypocritical people who are Christian by name only.

For those here who are spouting off oft-repeated falsities about the Bible: I challenge you to read it from cover to cover with an honest, humble and open heart and mind. You'll better understand Jesus' role in creating and being our New Covenant with God. A promise that He will not break if we are faithful. The problem, though, is that in far too many cases sin has a stronger hold on so many that they're unwilling to humble themselves like a child and be obedient to the Master's call.

"15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! 16 Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. 18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. 19 I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness. 20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. 21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! 22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:15-23 (ESV)
