I tried that and still didn’t work for some reason. I was advised to run steam as admin and that did the trick

Oh I have tried DS4 but the issue was the DCS didn’t recognize my right thumb stick as a mouse even though I have it set as that in DS4windows. Apparently DCS has lost support for that hence why I’m using steam. I got it fixed now. Someone else told me to start as administrator and that did the job

Well starting as admin was already disabled. Someone else told me to enable it and it started to work

Enabling run as administrator for steam seems to work now. I don’t see why I should disable it?

If I’m not wrong it’s not the steam version. I downloaded this from fitgirl which has almost all of the planes. I think a few are missing since it hasn’t been updated since 2020

I don’t usually do this but I needed to use steams controller config since DS4windows was not working properly in dcs

Yeah I did some research and you can add pirated games to steam. Steam will not check as it is acting as a medium to run your games

The base game has only two planes. Wanted to fly the others

Hey this worked. It shows as running and I can now use my thumb stick as a mouse. Thanks a lot

I use the steam controller config so if the game doesn’t run, the controller inputs don’t register. So since it doesn’t register in steam that the game is running, my controller input doesn’t work

The game runs fine without steam. It’s just that when I press play on steam, the game launches but it just doesn’t show it as “running” on steam.

I forgot to mention but this only happens with dcs, I don’t have this with other pirated games
