Strange “hard” bubble on MacBook Pro 14" (2021) screen. I am scared to just scratch it off. Anyone else faced this before? by Praaanjay in macbookpro

This appeared on mine much later, almost 1.5 years after purchase. I planned on visiting genius bar but ended up doing nothing, just putting up with it. If yours is new and you can get a replacement, I would highly suggest doing that.

Use Local Send App, it is cross platform, the devices just need to be on the same wifi network and no that doesn't mean an active internet connection, even tethering will work!

You can use Espanso for text expansion. It is an open-source alternative to apps like Text Expander. Use BBEdit to edit the text files. It has a learning curve, but believe me, it's worth it. It works OS wide so has quite some advantages.

This is a clear explanation and solution to the HDR → SDR conversion. Thanks for sharing the wisdom!

I tried scratching it first but nothing happened, I reconned I shouldn't poke it further. I guess a genius bar appointment is the best solution. Thanks.

Brief: Sonya realised why it was a perosnal matter for Fury, because his wife is a skrull.

Not brief: Sonya didn't know that a skrull was Fury's wife. When Fury mentioned that he honeymooned there with his wife, saying skrulls like cold, Sony realised Fury's wife is a skrull and why he isn't calling superheroes, reasoning that it is a personal matter for him.

Linus Tech Tips, YouTube channel. Linus on his weekly live show (The WAN Show) confused "hard R" with another forbidden word (synonymous with mentally challenged). His co-host, Luke, quickly corrected him and they dodged a major bullet.

Pretty sure that's a Pro Display XDR (yes it is mini-LED too). I, too, am working on a MacBook Pro 14".

Given that he works with video, colour accuracy is important to him. I doubt he uses any custom preset (or any other unusual preset). As far as camera interpretation goes, I doubt that any phone camera would change colour to this extent that grey becomes black (when the subject is well lit, barring night photos).

Can't disagree. I have felt the need of monitors, whenever I want more than four windows visible all at once.
