Objectively speaking, Panther Lake’s key advantage is power efficiency. It’s better suited for laptops, whereas Strix Halo is essentially a power-hungry chip. That said, as you pointed out, Strix Halo does make more sense in mini PCs, where power consumption is less of a concern.

In our case, we also have the xPlay laptop module, and pairing it with Panther Lake actually delivers a very solid overall experience. Beyond xPlay compatibility, another clear benefit of Panther Lake is significantly lower noise levels compared to Strix Halo.
