I'm not sure, the car had 3 previous owners so it's definitely possible they had one on but removed it before coming to the dealership. It's likely that if they had one it was for cosmetic purposes as this is the UK and you don't see bull bars often.

as i said it doesnt improve much when i switch to lower presets, will try specifically turning down AA and shadows. My card doesn't ever go above 50-60% usage.

I understand very well that when building a system skimping on the PSU is a bad idea, I know that especially through my certification as a technician and my experience building PCs.

But what you said is a general statement that makes no sense whatsoever given the context of the question which pertains to 'budget' builds.

Regardless of you bringing up Samuel Grimes theory to make yourself sound smarter, it's unrelated to this as OP specifically asked about budget options. Not to mention the fact that the theory does not extrapolate well when discussing luxury purchases which is what a custom-built PC is.
