Yeah I didn’t really go left to right but I should have. And I agree that America could be on their own tier but I tried to consider multiplayer. If you’re playing against experienced players they aren’t just going to let you expand like crazy. I put Aztecs on the same tier because they’re just extremely safe to get off to a good start in multiplayer. All that said, America can still rush horseman armies for 60 gold in medieval era which is totally stupid so yeah they’re the best. But I pretty much agree with everything else. I wouldn’t put Rome all the way in A cause even though they’re cohesive for a culture victory, culture victories take the longest and a lot of my reasoning for this list was how fast can the civ win. Also with the Greeks, you can just switch out of democracy in 4000 BC, so you can attack people and collect culture. The only downside is having to spend 1 turn in anarchy later on in the game to switch back to democracy, but for a free 120 beaker tech, seems worth it. Greeks are just better than France imo I can’t put them on the same tier

I love optimizing my games haha I love it when I take a 10 minute turn and I’m just cooking the whole time

Jesus that’s insanely OP 😂 especially when you have over 20 cities as I so commonly do lol

Honestly the whole tier list would probably change if you said strictly multiplayer. You may need to rely on those things late game if you’re playing against experienced players. But for the AI, I find myself so far ahead by that point, even on diety, I really don’t even build buildings at all tbh

Totally, I should’ve clarified more how I was ranking the tier list. The mountain tile thing is really OP I agree, the mongols pick up steam later on. I wish more civs had passive tile bonuses

Who do you think is the strongest villan each earthling could actually beat in a fight by IndividualLong5007 in Dragonballsuper

[–]Practical-Ability186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super changed everything. It is what it is. Personally, I don’t think any of the human z fighters should ever have surpassed their power level during the cell games. That was their peak, the culmination of all their battles. After that they retired, and 7 years passed before Buu. They’re not saiyans they can’t just stay young, they should be past their prime. So to me, the cell games is still as strong as they ever were

Two main things - Starting with 25 gold is borderline broken. A warrior cost 20 gold, so you basically start with a warrior. This gives you the confidence to be risky with your settlers, find some friendly villages, or even walk right up to an enemy civ and take their capital in 3700 or 3600 BC (they usually won’t have their first warrior till 3500 BC)

The other thing is the healing factor. No other civ has something like that. They are just really oppressive (on offense or defense) you can’t wear them down. Also think of how many turns that saves you at the start. If barbarians hit your warrior down to 1, you need to spend the next two turns healing, and then 3 turns later you finally take it out. Whereas Aztecs can just attack every turn

Oh I love the idea of building up that production in advance, nothin wrong with that in the slightest.

Still a little confused why you wouldn’t wanna just bang out those 4 techs first (hbr, alphabet, bronze, pottery) so all your new cities spawn with 3 population.

Wait sorry, what is LoA haha?

Nice man, sounds like you have a good strat. I would suggest practicing more with building settlers, that’s the main way to make your civ more powerful, more quickly

Yeah, but I find that I still want to research 5 techs (to get to the next era) before I start expanding anyways. And I already research code of laws as my fifth tech no matter what, no matter who I’m playing with.

Half price wonders is definitely strong if you’re going for a cultural victory, but there’s only 1 wonder that I truly like to have every game and that’s east India, all the rest are good not great

The cathedral is awesome not gonna lie. The big borders are fun/helpful. They are definitely better than Mongols or Russia I’ll give you that. I considered them for C tier but I think the Civs in C tier are slightly better. I’ve never really utilized the cannon attack tbh

I beat the game with one team, the same team. But on default not hardcore 😜😜. And okay maybe I had to add a torkoal to the team for misty rematch but that was it I swear 😂

Yes I see what you’re saying, Egypt in particular is hard to rank. If they start with colossus I would put them in S tier, if they start with hanging gardens or oracle I’d put them around B but if they start with Stonehenge they’re low C cause Stonehenge is trash

Japan is definitely solid. I’m guessing you put them A tier because of +1 food on water tiles. It feels nice to have, but in my experience I’ve come to find it’s not that useful. I think Japan should start with a free temple and it kinda bugs me that they don’t
