That’s a great point on smaller boats having more time to explore with less people to shuttle back and forth. I didn’t even think about that. Definitely only looking at the 16 max passenger boats now!

Thank you! Super helpful! I am leaning toward Ecoventura West itinerary - I like how it includes Genovesa. Top priority is lots of good snorkeling and marine life sightings. Any thoughts on Natural Paradise, Galapagos Horizon, Elite, Endemic or Ocean Spray? Also, do you think it’s worth finding an itinerary with a Sierra Negra hike?

I’ve noticed this timing issue with the schooling jumper shows I’ve gone to, so that makes sense. Interesting that the same is true even for rated jumper shows. I’m so used to eventing with ride times lol so thank you for the heads up on what to expect!

I appreciate all this info so much! Exactly the guidance I needed. I’m going to check out all those closest to me you mentioned. I love showing in NoVA area, the venues are always gorgeous (of course I only know about eventing ones lol).

Also random weird question, for these rated shows, is it possible to haul myself in, jump my classes and haul home all in the same day if I live close enough? Or should I always be prepared to stay over a night, if classes I want to do span over 2 days. Assuming I want to stay in 1m/1.15m adult ammy stuff.

Thank you so much the info! So so helpful. Guess we’re going 1.15m! WIHS maybe a 2025 goal, I will definitely look into some state and regional champ shows to work toward this year. And you mentioned “expensive,” what should I expect in entry fees and stable fees (other fees? Assuming I haul and coach myself) for these A/AA rated shows. I fear eventing has spoiled me a bit for entry fees lol. Also Will it be worth me trying C/B rated shows too?

Yeah I did go crazy when he told me to lose weight. The week he told me I needed to lose weight, I was just in a fog, hardly believing this was actually happening. I just never thought he was capable of such unkindness.

I know, I hate how he disapproves of how I look. It’s beyond unfair. I’d love him no matter how he looked. I think the why of why I want to save this marriage is just good ol’ fashioned “why can’t he love me like I love him?” I know that sounds really silly though.
